Thank you for the Interest in reading 'Transcending Norms'. This story is very personal to me, because it quite literally is, my story.
I will strive to be as open and honest as possible to provide insight into my thoughts and experiences, hoping that it may resonate with and potentially help others who find themselves in similar situations.
However, given that our society has not yet reached a point of complete acceptance, I must exercise caution in certain aspects of my storytelling.
For instance, I will replace my 'deadname' - the name assigned to me at birth that does not align with my gender identity - with a different name. Additionally, I will change the names of most other individuals, events and things mentioned in the story, particularly those portrayed in a negative light. Thankfully, since the story's primary focus is on my own experiences, these alterations should not pose significant issues.
