On a day like any other, I was outside with my mother. Where we going shopping? Visiting Grandma and Grandpa? Coming home from playing with a friend? Simply going for a walk? I don't remember. But we were outside and walking.
I looked up in the sky. Things one sees every day they tend to take for granted, but when ignoring that and really considering it, you can see how unique the world is. So I wondered and asked my mother: "Why is the sky blue?". She didn't have an answer.
I was used to not getting answers to my questions, not to blame my mother, one doesn't need full knowledge in physics to be allowed parenting, but I kinda accepted that there was no answer.
A bit later after we came back home and I settled on the sofa, mom researched on her phone. She told me that it was because of something with light reflections. I was confused for a moment what she was talking about, to which she reminded me of my prior question.
I didn't really understand how light reflections work, or how they cause the sky to being blue, neither did she, but I was satisfied I had somewhat of an answer.
