Season 1 Episode 8 - Leaving the Station

Matt: "Why the hell are you studying Japanese?" he asks, looking at the book in Mouch's hands.

Mouch: "I read online that once you turn 50, your brain starts to atrophy unless you keep it in shape."

Shay: "I think that train's already left the station, Mouch."

Cruz: "Say something in Japanese."

Mouch: "I just started."

Mills: "Hey, uh, where's Herrmann?"

Matt: "Tony Robbins seminar?"

Otis: "I got 20 bucks says in two weeks, you won't be able to string along a sentence."

Mouch: "Easiest money I ever made."

Otis: "Done. What's today?"

Gabby: "Um, the 29th."

Matt: "Ah, damn it."

Gabby: "Everything all right?"

Matt: "Yeah. No, I just forgot something." he says as Kenna sends him an understanding look before Boden and two men enter the common room.

Boden: "Hey, everybody. We have the pleasure of hosting a couple of visiting firefighters again. This is Gavin and Presley. They will be observing over the next couple of shifts. Lieutenant Casey, Lieutenant Severide, and... the rest of knuckleheads."

Gavin: "Hey, guys, thanks so much for allowing us to be here. And let us know if there's anything we can do to help out."

Mouch: "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Was that a Canadian 'out' I heard?"

Gavin: "Yes, sir. Toronto."

Presley: "We both just finished our probationary period."

Mouch: "You know what? Uh, welcome aboard, guys. No offense, but someone else will have to give you the tour, 'cause it ain't gonna be me." he exclaims, before he stood up and bolted out.

Matt: "Ignore him."

PA: "Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, injury on the blue line, Logan Square station."

Boden: "Be aware, men, the third rail could still be hot." he warns them, after they arrive on scene.

Matt: "You heard him, guys. Everyone keep your eyes forward. Let's do this the right way."

Boden: "Main, do we have a hold on the blue line power in Logan Square?"

Main: "Stand by. We're waiting for confirmation."

Conductor: "I think I hit someone." he informs Matt and Mills, after they make their way to the train.

Matt: "Chief, we might have a victim on the tracks. Conductor thinks he hit someone."

Boden: "You and Mills walk back down toward the tunnel. Mind that third rail."

Matt: "Copy."

Main: "C.T.A. confirms power has been shut down."

Boden: "Cruz, we got the all-clear. Throw the chain."

Mills: "Yo! Hey, I see somebody!" he calls out, after looking underneath the train.

Cruz: "Three, two, one, go!" he shouts, before throwing the chain down on the track causing sparks to immediately go off.

Boden: "Main, we still have power on the southbound track."

Jacob: "Please help me."

Matt: "His leg's stuck in the axle. I need this rail turned off."
