Chapter 7

Michael's POV

"Sorry, I forgot to mention that part."

"Michael! Everyone could tell! That's so freaking embarrassing, I can't believe this. I am only leaving this room to pee, and for when you take me home!" She looked so cute as she freaked out. She fell backwards onto my bed and starred at the ceiling. "I can't believe this." She sighed and closed her eyes. I could tell in her face that she was completely stressed and worn out.

"Sorry Elise, I didn't think you would run into Alec and I would go all possessive on you." I shrugged and sat in a chair by my dresser. Being the Alpha I got the perk of an awesome room, it was what I considered manly but I could easily change that for Elise. I rubbed my temples and leaned back in my chair. I heard movement and looked over at the bed. "What are you doing?"

"Getting comfortable, I'm tired." She said simply and crawled up in my bed and pulled the blankets up around herself. "You don't mind do you?"

"No, not at all. It's fine."

"Good, because I was going to sleep anyway." I smiled and got up walking to the bed. I leaned down and kissed her forehead, she looked so tired.

"I'll be back in little bit, I have to go talk to someone." She nodded and I began to walk to the door.

"Don't be mad at Alec, Michael, he didn't know." I didn't say anything, I walked out the door and down to the living room. Calen was sitting on the couch with his mate, Molly. They were watching a movie with a bunch of mated couples, probably some romance movie. Calen turned his head and saw me.

"Where is she bro?"

"Who?" Molly asked Calen. Molly had light brown wavy hair, and paler skin. She wore a pair of Buckle jeans and a black t-shirt. Calen was wearing a pair of dark wash jeans and a gray shirt.

"She's sleeping."

"Who?" Molly asked again.

"His mate." Molly jumped off the couch before Calen could grab her and ran down the hall towards my room.

"Molly no!" I shouted, I didn't use my Alpha voice like I should have. I didn't want Calen to get mad and attack me, he's one of my best fighters. I ran after Molly and caught up to he just as she opened my door. "Molly, she's tired!" I hissed as she walked over to my bed.

"Oh relax! I'm not going to wake her, I just want to see what she looks like."

"Molly... " I pleaded. If she wakes Elise I will murder her.

"Chill! She's not even asleep!" Elise sat up and looked at us.

"I was lonely," Elise shrugged and I sighed. Calen had finally made it to my room and went to Molly. He pulled Molly against him and whispered in her ear causing her to giggle. They started to walk out and Calen gave me an apologetic look. They left and I closed the door with a huff and then I locked it.

"I feel like I'm a prisoner." Elise laughed. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of pajama pants. "Um... er.."

"Relax sweetheart. I'll change in the bathroom."

"Oh, okay." I started to walk towards the bathroom when Elise spoke. "Do you have something I can sleep in? I feel kind of nasty wearing what I wore to bed last night." I smiled and walked back to my dresser, I took out a hoodie, knowing that a t-shirt would be to cold, and tossed it to her. I went into the bathroom and changed, throwing my pants and shirt into the hamper I walked out and over to the bed. She had neatly folded her clothes on the end of the bed and huddled into the blankets. She wasn't facing me when I got into the bed. I was on the left side, her back to me.

It was a little awkward at first, just lying there all stiff and quiet. I sighed and rolled onto my side and put an arm around Elise's waist and pulled her into me. I closed my eyes and drifted into a peaceful sleep with a beautiful girl in my arms.

AN I should be mean and end this chapter here, but I think we need to hear from Elise!

Elise's POV

My breathing was shallow as I felt Michael's abs on my back. I'm a sucker for guys with abs. I looked at my hand that was in front of my face, I barley know this guy. He's just a doctor, why should I believe any of this werewolf stuff? Oh right, because I've watched two kids go through it!

I mentally made a list of pros and cons about Michael.

Pros: He's sexy as hell, he's sweet and considerate, he's great with kids...

Cons: He's possessive, gets angry fast and finally, very straight forward with his intentions.

Three and three, I frowned. I heard Michael's steady breathing and felt it on my neck. It wasn't late at all, in fact it was only a little after one in the afternoon. I will admit I am exhausted. I closed my eyes and fell asleep in his arms.

What felt like minutes later I heard whispers and I began to stir. I never slept very long. I felt a rumble on my back as Michael spoke, "I swear to God, if any of you wake her up I will kick you out of the pack." The voices stopped. I snuggled closer to him and his arm tightened on my waist. He kissed right under my ear and I tried as hard as I could not to giggle. "What did you all want?"

"To meet the Luna!" Someone shouted. Michael growled and I stayed quiet with my eyes tightly closed. "Sorry Alpha I didn't meant to shout." The voice whispered. I knew about Lunas' and Alphas', and I understand why everyone wanted to meet me but I'm tired and just want to go back to sleep. I'm pretty sure Michael wants to too. "Later, she is sleeping."He said simply. He laid back down and pulled me closer to him, if that's even possible. It was quiet for a long time. "Why are you still in my room? OUT!" His voice had authority in it as everyone hustled out.

I turned over so I was facing him. "I'm sorry if I woke you Elise." He said as he kissed my nose.

"No, I've been awake."

"Oh, why didn't you say anything?"

"I was comfortable, and I didn't want anyone to get in trouble because of me waking up." I shrugged.

Michael smiled down at me and pulled me on top of him so I was straddling him. "Michael!" I gasped.

"You're so cute, ya know that?" I blushed. He leaned forward as did I. We stopped when there was only a breath between us, I waited for him to close the small gap, and when he didn't I took it into my own hands and kissed him.
