Chapter 25

Elise's POV

Michael and I pulled into the hospital parking lot. I was still a bit irritated from being woken up. Once the car was in park I hopped out and started walking towards the front doors. "Sheesh, someone's in a rush." Michael groaned as he followed me.

"Do not start with me." I grumbled. What the hell, I'm never like this! Michael jogged up to me and laced his fingers through mine. I relaxed and continued to walk.

"Your wolf is pissed off for some reason."

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"She's really cold, angry with me. I don't know why, try to contact her."

"Umm, okay I'll try."

'Hello?'

'He's irritating me.' A voice in my head howled.

'Why?'

'He doesn't get what we will go through if you are pregnant, he's rushing everything. I love him but he's going too fast, even for me.'

"She thinks you are moving to fast."

'Traitor.' She hissed in my head.

"I don't mean to. Do you think I am?"

"No, I mean it will be hard to explain to my dad but he'll be fine."

"I guess that's all that matters then." I smiled and kissed his cheek as we walked through the front door. We walked up the stair to my floor and he left to go up to his.

"Hey girls!" I said to the nurses that surrounded the desk.

"Elise! How's that doctor of yours?"

"Amazing. He just went up to his floor."

"Amazing in what way?" I blushed. "Oh God! We knew it!"

"Jeez, lower your voices." I hissed and they all giggled. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the clipboard that I knew was mine. I waved to them and walked to my first patient.

Michael's POV

At 8o'clock I was in Colin's room checking on his progress when I caught a whiff of Elise's scent. I also caught a whiff of a male wolf. I growled possessively but stayed in the room. I heard them talking.

"Dad, he works okay. You can't expect him to drop everything to go have jello with you in the cafeteria." She huffed, it's only her dad.

"Elise I want to meet him. I want to make sure he's the right guy for you. Would you slow down?"

"Dad, I'm trying to check on a patient! And he is perfect for me, he loves me and I love him. What more do you need?"

"I... Never mind." The door to the room flung open as Elise tried, unsuccessfully, to keep her dad out.

"OmiGod! Dad there are laws! You can't be in here!"

"But..."

"Sir, she's right. She could lose her job." I spoke for the first time. Elise glare at me. I shrugged my shoulders and looks back at Colin's report. Colin was fast asleep, he was usually out by 6:30 as part of his heeling process. His wolf was recovering well.

"Michael, not now."

"Oh this is him?" He dad spoke pointing at me.

"Yes dad, this is my fiancé, Michael."

"Nice to meet you sir." I spoke acknowledging him but not yet moving from my spot by the bed. "Elise, he's out. We can have dinner with your dad and you can come back to check on Colin then. Okay?"

"Yeah that's fine." I walked over to her and placed my arm around her waist as her dad walked down the hall. I nuzzled her neck with my face, her wolf was still upset.

"Relax."

"I'm trying."

Elise's POV

We sat in the hospital cafeteria, I played with my food as my dad grilled Michael. I could tell Michael was getting frustrated as my dad went in on another attack. This was around the 5th on and each time Michael got more and more angry. I we my silverware on my plate and moved my hand to Michael's leg.

"Sir, I don't know how I can convince you." Michael stated as he shifted under my hand. I gently rubbed his leg in what I thought was a soothing manner.

'Stahhhp Elise.' Michael hissed in my mind.

'What?'

'You know what, stop.'

'I'm trying to help.'

'Babe, you are seriously turning me on. I don't want your dad to smell either of us.' I gave him a confused look. 'He's a wolf. How did you not know?'

"I..." I covered my mouth an pretended to cough. Michael laughed and my dad gave us a funny expression. "Sorry." I mumbled. Michael grinned at me and took my hand in his.

"Dad, I have to get back to work. I'm glad you met my mate, now please, go to your hotel or something." My dad gave me a dumbfounded look.

"You know?"

"Well, yeah. I have a mate." Michael was still grinning an refused to let go of my hand as I stood up. I was tugged into his lap as my dad just stared.

"Are you two mated? What's your rank in your pack?"

"Yes sir, we are fully mated as of last night. I am Alpha of my pack."

"Alpha!?!?" My dad yelled.

"Sir, it would be wise of you to lower your voice." Michael growled. My dad lowered his head.

"When is the pup due?"

"We don't even know if she's pregnant."

"Then why the rush to get married? I assume its only been a little while since you've met."

"Sir, we are in love, we want to be together in marriage. And if she is pregnant we will be married before our children come. That's what we want." I played with Michael's hand as he spoke. I hadn't looked up once.

"I guess, I guess I should go. I should prepare for my daughter's wedding."

"Thank you dad." I looked at him. He smiled at me and then without of another word he walked out of the cafeteria. "Why does he look so sad?"

"He's losing his girl to another man."

"But he should understand above all people. I'm still his little girl." I sighed quietly.

"Aww, are you worried babe?"

"Shut up." I playfully hit his chest. He laughed and grabbed my wrists. It went from a playful and easy to full of lust. His intense stare captured mine. He leaned in close till I could feel his hot breath in my ear.

"I want you now." He whispered huskily. I whimpered as he kissed my neck.

"Michael, the people...."

"Let them watch, give them a show." He whispered.

"No. You'll have to wait till later." I groaned.

"Tease."

"Me'!? I'm the tease!"

"Yes you are." He smirked. I rolled my eyes and hoped off of his lap.

"I'm gonna go check in on Colin." I state as I walk out of the cafeteria.

"Okay, I'll see you when we get off."

AN so here's another chapter, just so ya know, this is 7 pages on my google docs. I don't think it is the same on wattpad :/ anyway, again this is written on my iPod.
