As we swayed to the upbeat rhythm of the song, I felt my cheeks heat up as Blaise and I slow danced together. Glances were sent our way from the other people around us, but I just ignored them. When the song finally came to an end, I told Blaise that I should go find my friends.

"Of course, Sofia. Have fun with your friends," he said, giving me a sweet smile.

I smiled back and walked away, feeling grateful for Blaise's understanding and kindness.

As I made my way toward Harry and Ron, I couldn't help but feel a little sorry for them. They looked so out of place sitting there, watching everyone else dancing and having fun. It seemed their dates had left them, and they were stuck with each other.

But as soon as they saw me approaching, their faces lit up. "Wow, Sofia, you look amazing!" Harry exclaims.

Ron nods in agreement, "Yeah, that dress suits you."

I can feel my face light up with a smile as their compliments sink in. "Thank you both so much," I say.

"Anyways, what are you doing here?" They asked.

"Well, I couldn't let my two best friends sit here all alone," I replied with a smile. "Come on, let's show everyone how it's done."

I took each of their hands and led them out onto the dance floor. At first, they were a little hesitant, but soon we were all laughing and spinning around together. Ginny and the others started to join in, and before we knew it, everyone was dancing and having a great time.

As the night wore on, I could see that Harry and Ron were starting to relax and enjoy themselves. They even started to talk to a few girls who had been eyeing them from across the room. By the end of the night, they both had huge grins on their faces and thanked me for rescuing them from their boredom.

I gathered my belongings and called out to Hermione to start packing up as well. We were getting ready to board the Hogwarts Express and head back home for Christmas. I was excited to see my family again, but I knew I would miss Hogwarts and all my other friends.

As we made our way to the train, we passed by Harry and Ron's compartment. I noticed that Lavender had drawn a heart on the door that read "L plus R." Hermione scoffed at the sight and we continued to find an empty compartment.

Luckily, we found one and settled in. Hermione and I chatted about our plans for the holidays and reminisced about the past term at Hogwarts.

After a few minutes, Ginny came by and took a seat by me. She handed me a small gift, and I couldn't help but ask what it was. Ginny just shrugged and said that she wasn't sure, but Malfoy had instructed her to give it to me.

She added that he had wished me a Merry Christmas, which left me feeling surprised and confused. I couldn't help but feel a little apprehensive about opening the gift. Nonetheless, I thanked Ginny and began to unwrap the package, wondering what awaited me inside.

I carefully unwrapped Draco's Christmas gift, feeling the anticipation building up inside of me. Ginny and Hermione watched curiously, eager to see what he had gotten me. As I opened the box, my eyes widened.

Inside was a beautiful silver moon necklace, with both mine and Draco's birthstones set in it. The word "Always" was engraved on the front, and I couldn't help but gasp as I held back tears. I had no idea what the other birthstone was for, but it didn't matter.

I was absolutely in awe of the necklace, and I knew that it was a gift that I would treasure for years to come. Ginny and Hermione shared in my excitement, and we spent a while longer admiring the necklace.
