Sitting on the bleachers, I put my entire encounter with Draco aside and focused solely on Ginny and the boys. I couldn't help but feel a sense of exhilaration. Quidditch has been and will always be one of my favorite sports to watch, and this tryout promised to be one of the most exciting yet.

We were all filled with enthusiasm as the day we had been eagerly awaiting for weeks finally arrived. Hermione and Luna were just as excited as I was, and our anticipation was only heightened by its arrival.

Ginny was up next, and she had an unmistakable look of determination on her face as she hopped onto her broom. I had absolutely no doubt she was going to perform spectacularly, and she did not disappoint.

She flew through the air gracefully, maneuvering past her opponents with agility. Every time she executed an impressive feat, the crowd erupted in applause.

Hermione, Luna, and I were all thoroughly impressed with Ginny's performance, exchanging enthusiastic glances as she came to a stop. I was confident that her chances of making the team were high, and I was eager to witness any other skills she had.

As the tryouts progressed, I became so engrossed in the action that I didn't even notice a teammate checking me out.

I feel my face heat up as I notice Hermione and Luna's eyes on me. I know they have noticed the boy too, and I can't help but feel embarrassed. No matter how hard I try to focus on the game, I can't help but glance his way, and he's still intently watching me.

The moment he averted his gaze, I seized the opportunity and murmured the Confundus Charm. Although I would typically never do something like this, I saw no harm in aiding a friend to secure the position they desired. Besides, this was merely a tryout and not an actual competition.

With so much happening simultaneously, it was almost impossible to keep up with it all, yet that was part of the excitement.

Witnessing Quidditch was always a thrilling journey, and every time a new player stepped onto the pitch, I experienced a wave of excitement. I was eager to discover their potential and how they would add to the team.

Ginny had done an outstanding job, and I was certain she would be chosen for the team. Even if she wasn't, I was confident that she had put her best foot forward, and that was the most important thing.

As the game sadly came to an end, I observed Cormac McLaggen, the boy that Hermione had mentioned, make his way toward Ron and point in my direction. Despite my attempts to remain composed, I could feel my heart racing with anticipation.

"So, what did everyone think of our performance?" Ginny asked as Ron approached us.

"You guys were amazing!" I said. Hermione and Luna agreed wholeheartedly as Ginny glowed with pride and appreciation, and I was delighted that I could bring a smile to her face with my compliment.

Making our way back to the castle, I felt incredibly fortunate to have witnessed Ginny and the other players soar through the air. It was an awe-inspiring sight that I would remember for a long time.

Quidditch was more than just a sport; it was a lifestyle, an emblem of tenacity and resilience. I was sure that the essence of Quidditch would never fade, so long as there were players like Ginny and the rest of them.

As I strolled along with my friends, the crisp autumn air caressed my skin and created a rustling sound as it blew through the trees along the path. We were happily discussing our favorite Quidditch players and the highlights from the tryouts when a Ravenclaw student suddenly emerged in front of us.

"Hey, you guys," he said, his voice slightly breathless from running. "There's going to be a party tonight in the Ravenclaw common room. You should come!"
