Making my way toward the Hogwarts Express train, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and apprehension. It was the start of a new school year, and I was eager to see my friends and start my studies once again. However, the recent events that had occurred in the wizarding world made me feel uneasy. The death eaters were on the hunt for Harry and the others, and it wasn't safe to let our guard down.
But as I look up at my parents, who are standing beside me, they hugged me tightly, and I could feel their worry and concern. "Please be careful," my mom whispered tears in her eyes. "We've heard that the death eaters are on the lookout for any students who might be helping Harry."
I nodded, understanding their fears. "I'll be careful," I promised. "I'll stay with my friends and make sure not to get into any trouble."
My dad gave me a stern look. "Just remember, Sofia, you're not invincible. Don't take any unnecessary risks."
I nodded again, feeling a lump in my throat. I knew they were right. I wasn't invincible, and I needed to be careful. But at the same time, I couldn't let fear dictate my life. I had to live it to the fullest, even in these dark times.
As I made my way onto the train, I saw that many of the other students were feeling the same mix of emotions I was. Some were excited to be back, while others were anxious and worried. We were all facing an uncertain future, but we knew that we had to stick together and support each other.
As I tried to focus on finding a compartment for my luggage. With both hands occupied, I struggled to lift my trunk into the overhead storage area. Suddenly, a hand reached out from behind me and offered to help. Turning around, I saw that it was Fred Weasley, one of my favorite people at Hogwarts.
"Thanks, Fred," I said, smiling gratefully.
"No problem," he replied. "Hey, do you want to join us in the back? George and Ginny are back there too."
I nodded eagerly and followed Fred down the narrow aisle of the train. We found George and Ginny in a compartment near the back of the train and we hugged each other tightly before sitting down next to Fred, feeling grateful for the company.
As the train started to move, I looked out the window and watched as my parents faded into the distance. I felt a pang of sadness and longing, but I knew that I had to focus on the present. Hogwarts was waiting for me, and I was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
The four of us quickly fell into an easy conversation, catching up on everything that had happened since the wedding. Fred and George were full of hilarious stories, and Ginny was as witty as ever. I felt myself relaxing in the familiar comfort of my friends' company.
Suddenly, the train jolted to a stop, throwing us all off balance. We heard shouting and screaming coming from outside the train, and Fred's face went pale.
"Death Eaters," he said, his voice low. "They're looking for Harry, Hermione, and Ron."
My heart pounded in my chest as I thought about the danger we were in. I had always known that being a student at Hogwarts during the Second Wizarding War was risky, but this was an entirely new level of danger.
Before any of us could react, the door to our compartment was thrown open and a group of Death Eaters stormed inside. They were cloaked in black, their faces obscured by masks. One of them pointed his wand at us, his voice cold and menacing.
"Where are they?" he demanded.
Neville Longbottom, who had been sitting quietly in the corner, stood up slowly. His face was red with anger.
"They're not here," he said, his voice shaking with fury. "And even if they were, we wouldn't tell you."
The Death Eaters cackled menacingly as they barged past him, still searching for Harry, Hermione, and Ron. I could feel the terror radiating off me, when suddenly Fred was by my side, his hand clasping mine tightly in an effort to reassure me.
