Request: Yes/No.

Request: "Can you write a one-shot where Aidan takes y/n to a concert of y/f/a who is his friend? He asks y/f/a to do him a favor by going on stage so he can propose to her. She says yes ofc. And then do a time skip of 5 to six years where they already have a kid a boy and a girl."

A/N: Thank you for the request! It means a lot to me that I keep receiving these and I'm incredibly thankful!!! I'm still getting used to the different points of view, even at my age, so if I make any mistakes, please let me know!! I want to try and make sure that I get my message across in each of these chapters so it means a lot to me that I'm able to do so. Keep sending in requests!!

First Person POV:

You wanted to go home.

To lie on the bed that was never made and the blinds that you forgot to shut the night before as you lay alongside the one you loved. You wanted to be near him, to feel his skin against yours as he'd hold you close, whispering sweet nothings into your ear. You wanted to feel the calloused fingers graze your arm as you'd sit together, talking about the adventures of past days which would mean nothing to you in a week. You wanted to be able to turn around and find his gaze that would've already been locked on you. To look into the eyes that you've been admiring for the last five years.

Except that you couldn't because those eyes were too busy looking for yours in the crowd.

You could feel the heat of the muggy room around you and the dust floating around the spotlights that were facing the audience. You decided to go to Aidan's concert with your friend instead of him, for what reason you did not understand, after her constant begging and Aidan's reassurance. He'd be fine.

Though the longer you stood there with your friend the more you yearned to be backstage with the nice fans blowing air on you and the wonderful view of your boyfriend performing on stage. You had contemplated begging your friend to go back there with you instead of standing in the crowd of adrenaline-high people who never stopped screaming but you decided against it. Why? You didn't know. You had a feeling that it was the guilt that still plagued you after accidentally forgetting her present at your house on her birthday but you were reminded to not think about it for too long when Aidan's eyes finally locked with yours and a smile graced his features.

Though you didn't mind the view. The blue and purple hues of the spotlights shone down on your boyfriend, who was glistening with sweat, his shirt pulling down showing some of his collarbone as he strummed his guitar along to the rhythm, his long hair still falling in his face as he does so. You felt your lips twitch into a smile as he reached the end of the 7th song on the album, which consisted of 12 songs in all. The closer he got to the end of the album, the sooner you'd be home and right back in his arms. Finally.

Though you were incredibly confused when you saw him take off his guitar and pause the show.

What's going on? This isn't a part of the set?

You were even more confused when he put his guitar to the side and asked the stage manager for a towel.

You stood there in confusion for a minute as he wiped his face off with the towel and drank some water.

What is he doing?

Even the crowd seemed confused as the noise of whispers and murmurs filled your ears. Soon enough it seemed like the show was going to commence as he walked up to the mic but that wasn't the case either.

"Now I know a lot of you are probably heavily confused as to why I stopped the show but I promise this will all make sense soon enough. But for now, I want to take a minute to dedicate this show to someone very special to me."
