Chap 5 - Mom?

While writing this chapter I chose to plan out all the gym leaders, elite 4, and the champion's Pokémon.

POV: 1ST

"Mom?" I asked.

I held the Pokémon's mask in my hand, it looked just like her face.

It floated there for a second, tears still flowing down its face. It nodded.

"Mommy. Is it really you?!" I asked desperately, tears still flowing down my face even faster than before.

"Mask!" It spoke. Even though I didn't understand, I still got the message. "I missed you so much!" I cried even harder.

It gave me- no she gave me a hug after so long she was finally back. "I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" I was bawling my eyes out hugging my mom's new small form. It didn't matter though because I had her back.

POV: 3RD

Junior and Cody finally stopped bickering and watched this heartwarming scene. "I'm glad Joseph got his mom back." Cody smilied. "Aww man, I wanted to catch that Pokémon." Junior said greedily.

"You only think about yourself Junior." Cody remarked. "Shut up Cody. Get your lizard to stop crying." Junior deflected.

"Ah, right." Cody walked over to his Sobble, they were still crying. "Come here, It's okay." Cody picked up his Sobble and calmed them down. After a few seconds it stopped crying. "There we go. Why don't you rest." Cody returned his Sobble to its ball because he knew the battle was over.

Junior and Cody finally stopped crying but Joseph and Yamask? His mom? Weren't done.

"Ugh, they're taking SO long." Junior rudely spoke. Cody said nothing and instead smacked him.

"OW!"

A sigh from Cody "Shut up Junior." Cody said flatly.

"Well Joseph, now that your mom is a Pokémon what are you gonna do now?" Cody asked. "What do you mean dude?" Joseph tilted his head. "Well, are you going to catch." He gestures to Joseph's mom. "And take her with you, or just leave her here, alone, in your trailer." He continues.

"Hmmm." Joseph puts his hand on his chin and thinks. "What do you think, mom?" He looks at the Yamask. "Mask!" She said it like she wanted to go with Joseph. "Then it's settled!" Joseph pulled out a Pokeball and his mom flew over to it and touched it.

The Yamask was sucked into the ball, it shaked three times and the ball dinged and . Yamask was caught!

"I wanted to be the one to catch the first Pokémon." Junior grumbled. Cody raised his fist but just placed his hand on Junior's shoulder. "You'll get the next one!" Cody smiled. Junior stared into Ocdy's eyes and spoke. "You're so gay Cody." He said flatly.

(No ships in my book!)

"Why do I even try?" Cody took his hand off Junior's shoulder. "Well it's already night time so we should probably go home and rest." Cody suggested.

"Do y'all wanna sleepover at my house? That way we can all leave together tomorrow." Junior asked.

"Okay!"

"Sure dude!"

The three boys went to Junior's house for the night. They thought of the Pokémon they would find and encounter. Maybe there would be never before seen Pokémon.

POV: 3RD

Junior's eyes fluttered open and he was back in his bed. He sat up and saw his friends on different sides of the bed. He got out of the covers and decided to prank his friends. He took a deep breath,

"GUYS WAKE UUUUUUUUP!!!" He screamed at the top of lungs. Instantly waking up his friends as Joseph shot up alarmed ready for a fight. And Cody jolted awake.

"WHAT'S GOING ON DUDE!"

"PLEASE DON'T HURT ME SIR I DID MY CHORES!"

"BWAHAHA! YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOUR FACES!" Junior laughed. "Not cool dude." Joseph adjusted his hat. "I can't believe I'll have to travel with you guys." Cody mumbled as he polished his glasses.

Hoo, you guys gotta admit that was pretty funny." The ginger snickered. Cody climbed down from the bunk bed. "Cody, where are you going? The prank wasn't that bad." Junior sounded semi apologetic. (not a ship)

"Well Junior, we'll be traveling for a while so I'm going to get a bag and some supplies, and say goodbye to ken. I suggest you two do the same. We'll meet up at the town exit." Cody turned around, his cloak flowing behind him.

"I guess that makes sense, I don't even think they eat in the video games." Junior realized. He turned to Joseph. "Do you even have a bag, Joseph."

"Ugh I get I'm poor." Joseph scoffed. "Yeah I know, but do you want to borrow one of mine?" Junior asked kindly.

"R-really dude?" His voice got higher. Junior nodded "Sure."

"Wait a minute you're being weirdly nice. Who are you and what have you done with the real Junior!" Joseph voiced his suspicions. "My moral compass is constantly spinning. Some days I can be nice, other days I can be the spawn of the devil." Junior shrugged.

"Bleeeeh-eh-eh. It is I the dev-"

"THE DEVIL?!"

"Yes. Why did you summon me? I have a job you know!" He scolded.

"We didn't mean too."

"Well don't do it again I'm getting ready to bat-, I'm going to be late!" The devil poofed away.

The boys looked at each other. "should we get the bags?" Junior asked. Joseph just nodded and they walked out of the room.

Junior and Joseph packed what they could from Junior's house. They took some food, portable chargers, camping supplies, and surprisingly some potions from Chef Pepe's stash. Then they went to meet up with Cody at the exit of town.

"Junior, I still can't believe we're going on our very own Pokémon adventure!" Joseph exclaimed. "You're right, it was really strange how we got to this world." Junior agreed.

"Anyways we should look for Cody, we don't wanna leave too late." Junior remarked. Joseph nodded in agreement.

They weren't right at the exit of the town but they were almost there. They looked around for a little bit before they saw Cody. "Hey Cody!" Junior waved. Cody saw him and waved back.

The trio reunited and were ready to leave, until....

"WAIT RIGHT THERE!"

In my head cannon Joseph's mom actually loved and cared for him even when she died.
