"I CHOOSE YOU!!!"

The Pokeballs hit the floor and the Pokémon bursted out staring each other down. "Well if you two are gonna battle I'll be the referee." Cody said as he jogged over to the side of the arena.

"TURTWIG USE TACKLE!" Junior commanded. "Not on my watch! CHARMANDER USE SCRATCH!" Joseph yelled in response.

The two starters charged at each other and struck each other at the same time. The two Pokémon took the damage and skidded away from each other because of the impact.

Junior swiped his arm while he yelled "TURTWIG ONE MORE TIME!" "YOU TOO CHARMANDER!"

The Pokémon clashed again with the both of them taking damage, the battle was just the two Pokémon using the same move over and over again. Until...

Joseph screamed "CHARMANDER ONE MORE SCRATCH!" Junior knew the Pokémon would just hit each other again, and probably knock each other out. Most times Junior would just ordered Turtwig to attack again. Ending the battle in a draw.

But

For some strange reason.

He used his head.

"TURTWIG DODGE AND USE TACKLE!" He yelled. At that command Turtwig held his ground waiting for Charmander's attack. The fire lizard ran at the grass turtle then jumped in the air and brought its claw down going for the kill.

Turtwig waited for the right moment and jumped out of the way right before the Charmander struck it, it then slammed itself into Charmander flinging the lizard all the way over to Joseph.

"Wow. Junior you actually used you- Oh. Right! Um. Charmander is unable to battle, Junior is the winner!" Cody announced. "Aww dude..." Joseph mumbled as he returned his Pokémon back to its ball.

"YEAH I WON!" Junior pumped his fists in the air. "You did great Turtwig! But you need some rest." He praised his Pokémon before returning it to its ball.

When Junior returned his Pokémon he saw a ring of blue circle around the Pokeball before releasing sparkles showing that his Pokémon leveled up. This happened to Joseph and Cody too.

Cody and Joseph walked over to Junior while the ginger celebrated his first victory. "Well. Now that you two had your battle can you please listen to what I have to say now?" Cody remarked.

"Ugggh. I would. buuuut I'mmm sooo tired. Right Joseph?" Spoke Junior.

"Junior." Cody said knowing what's gonna happen next.

"Yeah dude my Pokémon needs to rest." Joseph continued.

Cody threw his hands up, flipping his two friends off while he said. "You know what? Screw you guys. I'm going home and we can talk about this tomorrow."

Cody called out his new Rotom phone and asked it to show him the way back home. Unfortunately, Junior and Joseph saw it. "CODY! WHY IS YOUR PHONE FLYING!?" Junior shouted.

"Hurry up phone!" Cody loudly whispered, he did not want to deal with his friend's bs. "Yeah, do you get a flying phone? I want a flying phone." Spoke Joseph.

With another sigh from Cody he pushed his glasses up. "The Professor was thankful that I actually listened to his important speech unlike you two buffoons. So, he put a Rotom in my phone as thanks." Cody stuck his tongue out after he finished his sentence.
