When Davina woke up Maegor was not beside her. She stretched out on the bed and it was cold. He had been gone a while it seemed. She got up tending to Daemon and Maekar first, Alaric was already up, she heard him in his room sparing with the mirror. Maegor had gotten him a new sword for his name day and he was using it constantly. Vaera was still sound asleep and Elijah was putting his bow tie on when Davina opened the door.

"Look at you handsome!" Davina declared. Elijah smiled back at her. "Whats the occasion?"

"I like bow ties." Elijah offered straightening it.

"You look good in bow ties." Davina agreed, kissing his forehead. "You see your father this morning?"

"I havent seen MAEGOR-" Elijah corrected. "-yet today, no."

"Okay, well I'm going to find him, you want to break our fast together? Just you and me and little Daemon?" Davina pondered. "Maekar already fell back asleep."

"Yeah, I would like that." Elijah agreed. "Hey, can I put a bowtie on Daemon?"

"I think he would like that." Davina agreed putting Daemon down. "Can I leave him with you while I find Maegor?"

"You can count on me." Elijah agreed saluting her.

"Thank you." Davina searched around the castle, skipping the study, Maegor was never in there, knew he wasnt in the kitchen, he didnt cook before checking the throne room.

We always win, Maegor had said just that night. We it sure felt like they lost. Davina stumbled back seeing Maegor bleeding out, wrists slit, a sword from the chair bent and piercing through his neck.

"Mae- Mae- Maeg- o- or..." Davina stammered out as she took shaky steps to him. Before a wail left her lips.

Visenya followed Davina's wails to the throne room and saw her Davina at Maegor's feet her clothes stained in his blood. Visenya stumbled back and Davina looked up gripping her blade thinking it was an intruder ready to finish off the job.

"Dav..." Visenya whimpered.

"He's gone mama." Davina cried out dropping her blade again.

Davina didnt know how long she stayed there, she grieved Erryk again as she knelt at Maegor's feet. She grieved both her husbands again and again until she felt like she had cried her eyes dry. But as she rose up more tears fell and they felt like they were weighing her down. She sobbed out, they felt like tears of gold heavy, choking her slowly.

"I promise they will suffer." Davina whimpered gnawing at her lip as tears fell down her cheeks. She pulled Maegor free of the sword and sobbed even harder as she lay him down.

"It will be much more than a swift beheading that's for sure..." she assured his corpse. "I know people think... chop heads off but that's not our style. And honestly you want pain, want them to suffer if you chop his head off that's the easiest thing you can do that is not punishment that's a mercy I am not merciful." Davina declared. "I will get you vengeance and the world will remember Maegor Targaryen. I promise."

"Does this mean I can have Balerion!" Elijah had never been a huge fan of Maegor. "I'm going to claim him-"

"Elijah," Davina tsked. "After we burn him." She corrected. Elijah nodded taking a step back.

"Sorry I got excited." Elijah admitted. She ran a hand over his back.

"Death and dragons are exciting." Davina agreed. Visenya held onto Daemon as Maekar clung to Davina's legs. Vaera was already eating a cookie as Balerion got into place. Elijah was excited to claim a dragon soon enough. Alaric was used to people leaving, dying, he shed a few tears but knew that was life, life moved on and they were not safe yet. They still had to deal with Aegon, Alaric was wise beyond his years and knew he would be able to grieve Maegor after they got his revenge. Davina pressed another kiss to Maegor's head before rejoining her children. She wiped at her eyes.

Alaric knew that his father wouldnt want his tear, he would want a celebration of life and once they reclaimed the throne, they would do that for Maegor and Erryk both.

"Dr..." Davina faltered she looked to Visenya. "Mama I can't." She whimpered and Visenya held her daighter tight.

"It's okay baby," Visenya coed kissing her temple.

"Mama, he can't be gone..." Davina whimpered. "I dont want to go through this again."

"I know baby, it's not fair." Visenya agreed. "I hate it too... I... you know they both said you would be a good queen... they knew how strong you are, I know it too, we will get through this. Together. We always do.

"I dont want to burn another husband!" Davina corrected.

"I dont want to burn my only son." Visenya agreed kissing her temple again. "We heed to each other and we take down the rebellion, the living still need you to be strong, your family needs you to be strong Davina." Visenya demanded and Davina sucked up her tears meeting her mothers gaze.

"Okay..." Davina agreed. Davina looked to Elijah. "Balerion will be yours one day... would you like to do the honors?"

"DRACARYS!" Elijah shouted without hesitation. They felt the flames touching their skin as Balerion blazed away. Turning Maegor to ash.

Maegor's cruelty died with him, however, not until Davina got Maegor his redemption. She took Fury out and found Aegon, his wife, his family... she missed one but she could handle Jaehaerys.

"Did you do it?" Davina demanded shouting down to them.

"Get the dragons." Aegon demanded.

"Did you kill him?" Davina demanded fury as large as her own dragon boiling within her. "DID YOU KILL MAEGOR?"

"He's dead?" Aegon had the nerve to smile. "The throne is mine-"

"Never." Davina corrected. "Never, because Maegor was right, we always win... just might not seem like a win but we don't lose."

"Get me my drago-''

"DRACARYS!"
