He got cleaned up and dried off before he found Davina. She was sitting beside her son smiling down at him. Maegor leaned against the door frame staring down at her. He knew he fucked up but she got married and had a fucking kid, two kids with another man and yet when she met his gaze he knew he was in trouble. Knew he had a chance if he got his act together and that was easier said than done.
"Fuck off Maegor." Davina instructed. "Fly home to your harlots and whores."
"Come on Dav... Caffeine will make you feel better. And, if we're lucky, they may have some pastry options to add some sugar to the bitterness you're spewing." Maegor offered and Davina scowled at him. "See you need some sugar, sugar."
"I will drown you." Davina warned.
"I want you Dav, can't we try and work something out?" Maegor questioned. "You are the one want, not Tyanna, Alys, Celyse... none of them compare to you."
"You got another?" Davina countered stubbornly.
''You're all I ever wanted." Maegor remarked and Davina couldnt meet his gaze as she pulled Elijah to her before putting him in his crib.
"You love me but no matter what you say there's only one of two ways that this is going to end." Davina informed him.
"Davina... I don't like how that sounds." Maegor admitted.
"Someone leaves and someone gets hurt." Davina remarked. "And I dont want to be hurt by you Maegor because you will leave, you always will find someone better, someone new and shiny to capture your attention."
"davina-" Maegor reached out for her.
"I'm fine. I'm really happy actually." Davina remarked her chest felt tight though. "I love you Maegor, I do... And I don't want to live without you. But I dont know how to live with you either." Davina declared. "It feels like a curse Maegor. Dont you see it? We hurt each other."
"Maybe I can break the curse, never have to live in that world without you and we can be in love forever...." Maegor offered.
"I love Erryk, I'm married to erryk." Davina reminded him. Maegor gave one slow nod.
"I almost lost you once... fuck Dav, I did lose you. I don't want to go through that again my heart couldn't handle it." Maegor declared. "You're my fire, my safety, my anchor, my true love I believe that completely." Maegor declared. Davina stared back at him and he saw a tear run down her cheek. "Now Dav... Come here. Just let me hold you." Maegor requested reaching out for her.

Davina moved slowly to him and he enveloped his arms around her and she relaxed into him.
"This doesnt change anything. I love Erryk." Davina mumbled into him.
"We take it one day at a time." Maegor assured not letting her go.
