Wren and I decided to stay awhile in Wolfepine and help clean out all the nazi crap. We found a ton of stuff that Frida and her goons hid from everyone. Including the fact that they fed everyone human meat and had a makeshift crematorium where they burned all the "'Non-humans'". Put it in extra quotations because they did not mean the Freaks.

An old man who used to work in the mine before it closed, put dynamite inside. We all stood on the rooftop of Steph and Alex's apartment to watch the atrocity get blown to bits. Alex had me go out of town with her to take down all the Wolfepine signs, we got to ride horses.

Apparently, the town used to be called Haven Springs. Well, now they have reclaimed the name and made the hard choice of not being nazi cannibals.

Most of the town had no clue what Frida and her army were doing. They knew something was happening but let Steph report secretly to Alex at the mines, in hopes of help one day. Some people did try to find out what was happening, then they ended up missing forever. The rest of the town were scared for their lives and loved ones, so they didn't fight.

A giant memorial was erected 2 days after Frida was killed. The town put pictures, flowers, and candles near a mine memorial, for their loved ones that went 'missing'.

Alex and Steph were unanimously elected mayors. Steph fought it heavily but eventually caved.

I helped as much as I could and trained Wren to fight on the side. She picked most of it up quickly. But she still can't sleep without me. The night when we took over, she went back to her room. Then I woke up with her curled up next to me, shivering from the cold mountain air. I threw my blanket over her and went back to sleep.

Steph got my cassette player fixed, and it works better than when I got it. She even made me a mixtape as a thank-you. It has The Sex Pistols, Metallica, Green Day, and even Rascal Flatts. Plus, some random indie stuff that only her and the bands that made the songs know about.

She also made another mixtape of music she thought I would like. Which she somehow got all right. She didn't miss a single one. Steph is a true music master. She got all my tastes, from, Grunge, Synthwave, Indie, Punk, Mid-west emo, and the most hardcore... 80's hits. Steph also made fun of my music taste but gave me props as well.

A week passed fairly quickly, and everything settled down. All the stuff from the nazis is gone, their bodies burnt in their own creation. Steph and Alex took over, and everything is great and running like it used to. They both had me teach the town some self-defense, how to use guns and survive.

"Do you have the maps?" I asked Wren.

"Yeah-yeah-yeah." She said mindlessly. "Do we really have to go?"

"I do..." I turned to look at her. "But you don't have to." I got the words out, and a sharp pain hit me right in the chest as I said them.

"Saren..." She said softly. "Don't be a fucking idiot." She quickly switched up and glared at me so hard my soul cowered in a corner.

"Ok sorry," I said quietly.

"Where you go, I go." She assured me.

"Are you sure?" I asked and she hit my arm.

"Saren, I'm coming with you. You are stuck with me forever," she said firmly.

"Ok-ok." I gave in.

"Honestly... I thought you would figure it out after the kiss," she said.

"What kiss?" I said confused.
