After Wren fell asleep, a weird feeling in my chest started to grow. I carefully slid her out of my arms and pulled the covers up around her. Her sleeping face was cute, with flushed red cheeks, and soft deep breaths as she slept soundly. I started to quietly look around the room, trying to find my clothes.
The sleeping clothes I put on her when she was out after the fight she had, were scattered around the bed.
Kinda rude to just throw them about... even though I did help with that.
Getting dressed, I stood at the foot of the bed and watched her sleep some more. The weird feeling in my stomach built up again. This girl makes me nervous.
I went out and came back around 7 am. With a back of deliciousness.
Unlocking the door as slowly as I could, so I don't disturb her, and tip-toeing back near the bed.
She was in a completely different position than the cover on the floor, and she was laying there, spread eagle with everything in the wind. It gave me a little laugh.
She started to moan in her sleep, her face contorted in fear and confusion. Beads of sweat started to form on her forehead.
"No...no... stop... don't go Saren" She groaned. I sat on the side of the bed and gently laid my hand on her arm. She was hot, and soaked in sweat. "Saren!" She sat up quickly, her eyes wild in fear. They darted to the room, eventually landing on me. She quickly shot at me wrapping her hands around me, squeezing me tight.
"I'm right here," I said, slowly rubbing her back.
She held me until she started to calm down, and she sat back up.
"Are you ok?" I asked her.
"Yeah... I'm ok... just a nightmare." She said softly.
She sat there, still looking shaken up by the dream. I reached out and took her hand, and held it gently. A soft smile formed on her thin lips.
"Where are my clothes?" She asked.
"You got excited and threw them all over the room," I smirked.
"If I remember right... you helped in removing them," she smirked.
"Don't remember that," I said shaking my head.
"Uh-huh." She glared at me with a smirk.
"You feeling ok?" I asked.
"Better now," she said.
"I have a surprise!" I smiled playfully.
Her eyes lit up. "What is it?!"
I pulled out a grease-stained paper bag--a familiar and delicious smell emulated from the stained bag.
"Bacon," I said, and she gasped. "Egg." She gasped again. "Cheese." Another gasp. "Sausage." A louder gasp. "Breakfast sandwiches!" I said and she gasped loudly.
She took the bag, ripped it open, and inhaled the smell like it was the first time in a long time smelling fresh air.
"How did you get these!?" She asked.
"After our... festivities," I said, and she blushed deeply. "I couldn't get to sleep, so I went out to find some food for you, and found this restaurant downstairs selling these bad boys. They were expensive, so I went out and got some bounties."
