Jade's pov
Hugo was right; I did get used to Hufflepuff. I met so many people here and made amazing friends. My best friend is Jessie and she's so lovely. All people at Hufflepuff are kind and sensible which is the exact company I like.
Once I sent my parents an owl, they flipped! Dad lost his mind and mom was in shock. I didn't care because I was already starting to low key love being a Hufflepuff. I was glad that the Hat considered Slytherin as a great fit for me. Of course, I knew it was but Hufflepuff was just as amazing. We always fooled around and everything, we never got into any trouble and professor Sprout was so sweet and kind to us.
I'm currently in my seventh year at Hogwarts and I can't even describe how fast the time went by. Like it was yesterday when I was arguing with the Hat, telling it I belong to Slytherin. Now I gathered all the knowledge this school can give me and I'm moving forwards to succeeding in my ambition to become an Auror. The NEWTs are coming up and I have to prepare for them. I must score the best grade in the majority of them.
But, what happened before my seventh year?
So, as I said, I got used to Hufflepuff and I actually think I'm better of here than in Slytherin. I don't think that there's a single Slytherin in my year that never got into any serious trouble. I mean, Slytherins good but it's just how they are.
I made three lovely new friends; Cadance, Joy and Moon, along with the ones who are basically my family now (Rose, Hugo, Lilly, Albus, James, Claire and Aiden).
I have a boyfriend! We've been dating since fifth year and we're pretty serious. He met my parents last summer. Mom is fond of him but dad is... Dad. He overthinks every Jake's (that's my boyfriends name) decision. Oh, well. I mean grandpa Lucius never liked my mom but here they are, celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary.
My daughter is graduating from Hogwarts this year! I cannot believe. She's seventeen years old and already an adult but it's like it was yesterday when I was teaching her how to hold the spoon properly. She's all grown up. She has a boyfriend. Time sure flies!
As for me and Draco, we love eachother and we're happy. We are celebrating 27 years of marrige this year but our love is as strong as the first day. We never fought or argued and all of our friends envied us for that. We remained close to all of our friends and we still go out to have fun regularly. We go to Hogsmeade to spend a few hours and feel like we're still in Hogwarts, careless, crazy, happy, wild and free teenagers. I love every single part of my life.

Everything Wynter stated is true. I'm not here to talk about my life though. My little Jade is all grown up and has a boyfriend. I don't like him one bit. Yet, the other day, we got a letter from Jade and I quote it:
"Dear Mom and Dad,
Today's the best day of my life! Jake and I, well, we're taking our relationship yet another step further. We need to talk face to face so what do you say on next Wednesday at midnight through the fire place. I'll give you a hint of what happened: let's just say I'm not his girlfriend anymore.
All love,
Jade ▪︎"
Can you believe it?! Wynter and I guessed what happened instantly. My baby girl is getting married!
