Two months later

"Are you excited? Because I sure am.", Ginny told me while she was once again counting the chairs in the hall

The day has come. My wedding day. Today, I will finally be marrying the man of my dreams, Draco Malfoy.

"Hell yeah, I'm excited!", I exclaimed, fastening my hair pin

"From tomorrow on, I can call you misses Malfoy.", Hermione said, putting on mascara

"You always called her misses Malfoy, so nothing changes.", Luna said. She was less dreamy that usual. She was all serious and happy for me. I asked her if something was wrong but she said she's just happy that I'm happy and that I shouldn't worry about her. I felt sad but it was, after all, my day

"Yes, but now it has literal meaning.", Hermione replied

At that moment, I heard a gentle knock on the door of the room

"Hey Draco!", Ginny said opening the door slightly, enough to put her face between the door and the frame. "It's..."

"Bad luck to see the bride before the wedding? I know. I actually wanna talk to Hermione.", Draco cut Ginny of with a smile. I didn't bother making my presence known. I knew he's gonna be my husband in just a couple of hours so I didn't want to ruin his moments with everyone else.

"Here I am!", Hermione yelled, exiting the room. "'Sup, Draco?"

Draco's pov

"I'm sure you could see this coming."

"You're having cold feet, huh?"

"Yes. Not that I don't love Wynter, it's not that. I love her more than anything in this whole world and that's exactly why I'm not sure I should be marrying her. I think I might not be good enough for her.", I said, nearly crying

"Hey, don't worry. Cold feet is basically a standard procedure before the wedding ceremony. I understand you, though. But if she agreed to marry you, don't you think she believes you are good enough?" Hermione said

"Yeah, I do but what she believes in might not be right or truth.", I was persistent

"Draco, if you're expecting me to say 'Then don't marry her.', dude, you're in the wrong place. I want this to work out for you guys, I really do. You're a cute couple and everything and you deserve happiness. Both of you. Only God knows what you've been through and I think you deserve to have your happily ever afters together.

"Thanks. That's exactly why I wanted to talk to you. I know you have the best advice."

"No problem. Now go and make Wynter a Malfoy.", Hermione said turning away

"Hey, Mione?", I called her

"Yeah?", she responded

"I really fricking love her, you know that, right?", I said, which confused Hermione

"Yeah..."

"The last thing I want to do is to hurt her in any way."

"God, you're such a chicken. If you don't want ot hurt her feelings then don't be a jackass and boom! Problem solved."

"But..."

"No buts. Go now and prepare for the ceremony. And don't you dare take of! If you do, I will hunt you down and then it gonn' get nasty."

"Fine."

"Go! Go!", Hermione encouraged me.

Hermione was really satisfied with herself because she solved a big problem. Prevented it, really. But as soon as she walked back into the room, she had to solve another existential crisis. This time Wynter's, as I heard from her a few years later

"I love him, I really damn do but what if... it fades away? Like what if it's just another love. You remember my ex? The one we don't talk about? Well Ioved him too but I broke things of because my love faded away.- I said nearly crying

"Are you sure that was love? Because the way I see it it was obssesion, not love. I haven't seen you this happy in a while. Your happiness began after you and Draco officially announced you were together. It won't fade away if it's real love.", Hermione said. At that moment, her words reminded me of something professor Dumbledore would say if he was around

"But what if...", I started but even before I finished my sentence, I knew it couldn't be true

"You are not seriously questioning your love for Draco right now!", Luna yelled, which was weird because she never yells

"I... I guess I got cold feet and only God knows what comes to my mind and why.", I responded, not knowing what else to say"

"I have a quick test for you to determine rather or not it is real love. But I mean, all of us in this room know it is.", Ginny said and then continued "Remember when he kissed you in the Three Broomsticks all those years ago? Or, let's go even further, remember when you saw a tall, blonde guy in the library? Remember when he opened up to you for the first time, when he asked you to dance with him for the Valentine's day? When you realized he has feelings for you? When you had to fight against him? When you confessed to him Finlay? How does that make you feel now, huh?", Ginny finished

I teared up a little, reliving all of those moments inside my head, in great detail. Ginny, Hermione and Luna were right. That must've been love and nothing else because it was stronger than anything I've ever felt before. Just like that, I was back to being happy and excited.

It was then when I noticed Lizzy was missing. "Where the heck is she now?", I thought. She can't miss my wedding for Lord's sake!

"She's here somewhere, I saw her earlier.", Luna said

"Lovely, now she's hiding.", I said

"Give the girl some peace. Maybe she found a cute little corner to go make out with a groom-mate.", Ginny said with a devil smile on her face

It turned out she was right. We found her in the boys' restroom, kissing Blaise Zabini.

"Well, well...", Hermione said and you all ended up laughing

It was it. I was walking down that isle, seeing the love of my life on the other end of it. I'm getting married! All of my childhood dreams are coming true at this very moment.

The man that officiated the wedding said:

"We gather here today to celebrate the love of these two people, Draco and Wynter. These two have been through it all. Heaven and Hell but they have been through it together. Despite all the difficulties life has placed in front of them, they found away to be here at this very moment. So, with out further a do, let's get them married, schell we?", the guests laughed "Wynter, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband in sickness and in health, until death parts you?"

'I do.", I said, not stuttering at all but not being to look Draco in the eye

"Draco, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, until death parts you?"

"I do.", Draco said, also not stuttering, looking me in the eye with his sparkly grey eyes

"I here by pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.", the officiator said

Draco was just about to lean in but before he could do that, I grabbed his tie and pulled him down towards me. I was a little shorter than him. My move made him smile and I think that everyone else smiled or laughed, too. We didn't brake it of, we continued and I didn't even care that my entire family was watching. When we parted, I whispered in his ear:

"This is all that we've been waiting for Draco."

"I know. Misses Malfoy. Damn, that sounds good to say.", he replied, smiling

After the ceremony, we had a giant feast. I was happier than ever.
