How he became my everything (Wynter x draco fanfic love story)

Chapter 1- and so it began

I was studying at the library when I heard someone who's voice sounded really unhappy.

"Yo, can I help you? And keep it down I'm preparing for my exams.", that's where I stopped because all I could see was a handsome, blonde boy. He was tall and I thought he looked so cute.

I helped him out with the books he needed and wished him a good luck on his exams. I thought I would never see him again since we were different years, same house but never saw him in the common room and had no classes together. But the universe just kept bringing us together. We both ended up in detention and had to clean the Trophy Room together, professor Mcgonagall asked me to help Draco with some Transfiguration because Draco just didn't seem to get a hang of it and we seemed to have the same studying places (the gardens).

I decided to get the most of it so I engaged a conversation once and it continued every day. Draco wasn't at all what he seemed like, he was understanding but misunderstood. We talked about serious topics that I wasn't sure if I'd be able to tell my friends about. This made me question all my friendships but I snapped out of it. We talked for hours and Peeves was already suspicious. One day he decided he couldn't take it and he just told the whole school me and Draco were dating. I was worried and annoyed but Draco laughed it of. My friends told me it was because he would want to be with me. 

At that point, I thought that I will never like Draco because he was just a friend to me. Like my personal human vent book. I cared about him a lot but just not in that way. I tried to tell my friends that it doesn't have to mean anything but they believed a hundred percent in what they were saying.

It was Valentine's day and I was alone. I sat on the bench while everyone was doing something with their significant other. At that moment, Draco walked up to me and said:

"C'mon, Wynter, it's Valentine's day."

"Not my thing."

"You're alone, I'm alone, let's dance together, as friends."

Then I agreed but I could see that it hurt his feelings that I don't want to be anything more than friends with him. Draco and feelings. They seem like totally different universes, but what I saw on his face was emotion, real, not fake. I stood up whole night thinking about that. I thought that I could give him a shot and the shot actually came looking for me, not the other way around.

It was a weekend in Hogsmeade and I was at the Three Broomsticks with my friends. I was goofing around when I saw Draco and the gang enter the bar. I was completely lost. First I got all serious and then I started goofing around even more. My friends had no idea what was going on until one of them noticed Draco sitting at the table across. They started teasing me and I got annoyed but deep inside I knew something was of with the way I subconsciously started acting like when Draco walked in. Me and my friends got a little more serious and my friend Lizzy made me switch seats with her so that I don't get distracted by Draco while talking to them. But all we ended up talking about was Draco. Every other sentence was something like "Hey, Wynter, Draco's smiling at you." I tried to shake it of but just couldn't. Once I couldn't take it anymore, I gathered up all the courage I had and walked up to his table saying:

"Is there something you wanna tell me?"

"What do you mean?"

"I know you were looking at me the whole time. So? Anything on your mind?"

And then Draco did the unthinkable: he leaned in, gently pulled my chin towards his face and locked lips with me.

I stood there in shock. I ended up smiling at him and leaving the bar. I was so confused. "Why'd he do that? What do I think about it? Do I like him?" So many questions were running around my head. 

The next day in school, I avoided Draco the entire time and he started noticing it. He walked up to me after lunch and said:

"You don't need to be weird about it. I needed to do it but now you can forget it. I know that you and I will always be platonic and that's it."

Those words broke my heart for some reason and I just hugged him tightly because I couldn't think of adequate words to respond to that. Everything went back to normal.

 It was all well until Draco joined the Death Eaters. I tried to prove to him that they are bad and that he knows better than them but instead of giving up on them, he started convincing me to join as well. I passed, of course, and after that he refused speaking to me in any way. It was one of our very last "vent book" conversations I remember having. He accidentally said that he's supposed to kill Dumbledore and I was just speechless. I started screaming and shouting. Draco calmed me down and he said that he'd never do that but Voldemort is going to kill him if he doesn't kill Dumbledore.

After Dumbledore actually died, I was happy to hear that Draco didn't do it but I didn't get to see Draco any more because my parents pulled md out of school for safety. However, I came back for the Battle of Hogwarts.

It hurt so much that I had to fight against Draco. I had to. After the Death Eaters came back from the Forest with Harry's "dead" body, I had eye contact with Draco that ment more than any words. Once Harry jumped out of Hagrid's arms, Draco threw him a wand and Harry used it to defeat Voldemort. After the Battle was done, you told Draco:

"You have no idea how hard for me was it to fight against you."

"Why?"

"You did not just ask that. Because I like you, Draco. I realized a bit too late but... You could have been killed out there."

"You l... Like me?"

"Yes."

"You know I like you too, right?"

"Uh-uh."

"Well, in that case...", and he proceeded to kiss me passionately. When I broke out of it he said:

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes", I responded not eve
