"Stay...with YOU?" (Y/n) laughed in shock, glaring at Kafka until she realised that the plum haired woman wasn't joking. The laughter died down, and (y/n) clenched her jaw, stood up, leaned over the table, and looked down at Kafka.
"In your dreams." (Y/n) spoke silently, a tint of annoyance in her voice as her (e/c) eyes seemed to show the same. Kafka's burgundy coloured lips curled up into a smile, eventually letting out a breathy chuckle. "Is this how you treat someone that saved you?" She tilted her head, her purple eyes staring back at the other's (e/c) ones.
Kafka let out a disappointed sigh, gently shaking her head. "Well, that's a shame, I suppose you'll just have to stay here." Kafka whispered just soft enough for (y/n) to hear, the (h/c) haired girl gripped onto the table, her fingernails scratching the surface. Kafka, on the other hand, seemed to enjoy her reaction, a look of amusement painted on her face.
"Are you angry?"
"How did you know?"
Kafka let out a sweet laugh, causing (y/n) to take a step back from the table with a sour look on her face. Kafka played around with her hair as her laughter settled down. "I'm joking. I'll let you go down, of course. On one condition."
(Y/n)'s eyes twitched in annoyance as she continued listening to the older woman. Kafka took note of it and continued, taking out a small bracelet with a metal plate on it.
"If you wear this, I'll let you go." Kafka slid the bracelet in front of (Y/n) resting her head in the palm of her hands. The (h/c) haired girl and picked up the bracelet, examining it carefully. The girl looked up at kafka, a confused expression painted across her face.
"What is it?" (Y/n) shot Kafka a questioning glare, her head tilted ever so slightly. Kafka closed her eyes as though to think before opening them. She looked up at the other woman, her usual hazy lavender eyes staring into the (h/c) haired girl's soul. "Just a gift. That's all."
Kafka intertwined her fingers together and rested her elbows on the table before resting her chin on her slender fingers. She smiled eerily, sending chills down (y/n)'s spine, the (h/c) haired girl hesitantly put on the bracelet and folded her arms over her chest. (Y/n) clicked her tongue impatiently while waiting for Kafka to send her back to where she came from.
"Can I go now? Take me back." (Y/n) groaned as Kafka unintentionally took her own time getting off the seat, adjusting the cuffs of her elegant dress shirt. The mauve haired woman kept her cunning smile as she tapped on (Y/n)'s forehead while pressing their bodies together.
Listen to me. When you return, you won't remember this place, you won't remember why you're wearing this bracelet but you will still keep it. You won't remember my face either, but remember my name, my touch, my scent.
Everything was a blur afterwards, (y/n) was knocked out and laid down on the same spot where Kafka had saved her. "(Y/n)? (Y/n)!" A familiar deep voice rung in her ears, but the (h/c) haired girl couldn't respond. Or rather, she was too weak in that moment to move nor speak.
As (Y/n) and her father were somewhat reunited in the most unbelievable way possible, Kafka stood atop of a cliff from afar, keeping her eye on (Y/n). "Are you done, Kafka." The usual monotone voice of her companion, Blade or Bladie, as she calls him, caught her attention. Kafka snapped her head in his direction with a sly smile and simply walked past him as they continued to wait in the shadows.
