"Where...THE FUCK IS SHE?" A low voice boomed through a study, the shelves and books rattled slightly, the water in the glass cup created ripples. A large hand slammed onto the table multiple times, creating dents into the polished cedar wood table. The man rubbed his temples, sighing heavily his (e/c) coloured eyes looking up at a line of people that stood in front of him.
"We are still searching sir if you wa-"
The man slammed the table harder, his breathing quickens as he stood up. His face showed an expression of fury, fire burned in his eyes. "It's been THREE days, and you USELESS lot haven't found MY daughter?" He raised his voice once more, crushing the glass cup in his hand.
"We would prioritise more troops to search, but then who would protect our village?"
One of the people spoke, a woman who pointed towards the window; She was right, everyday different monsters inched closer towards their small town as the corrosion crept closer towards them. The man released the broken glass cup from his grip, allowing it to fall to the floor completely shattering it. The man turned around and leaned his palms onto the edge of the table, staring intently at a picture.
A framed photo of him standing next to a woman and in the middle was (Y/n).
He sighed as his reached out his hand to touch the picture, his fingertips brushing against the frame. "Just where are you..." The man's voice softened as he closed his eyes, a frown forming on his lips. He then moved away and walked towards a glass cabinet, opened it, and took out a sword before turning back to the advisors.
"Looks like I'll have to lead instead." The advisors seemed relatively shocked by his words. Some knew that they couldn't change his mind while the others fully opposed his idea. "Sir, you can't be serious! It's dangerous out ther-" Only to be cut off by a sharp glare.
"I am the ruler of this small land, and I will do as I wish." He walked past the group of advisors and slammed the door shut behind him. The man walked down the halls, gathering his own troop of soldiers.
He and his troop stood near the borders where small monsters and humanoid ones approached rapidly towards them. "THIS IS OUR LAND AND WE WILL SACRIFICE OURSELVES TO PROTECT IT! DON'T FALL BACK AND FIGHT!"
The soldiers roared, preparing to fight as the man stood on the stone brick wall waiting for those monsters to be within attacking range.
"FOR ORELIA!"
