For a little while, this will be in Tori's POV
"So she's staying like this for a while?" We were back at school, sitting in the Cram School classroom. Yukio was in the hospital with Rin because Rin got shot and the rest of us were just sitting together on the floor while I struggled to keep Aaushi still. She was still a vibrant three year old, and because of this she kept trying to escape my lap to run around the classroom and annoy everyone. Shiemi helped a little by playing patty cake with her while we talked.
"Yeah, but only for three weeks." I added, curling Aaushi's hair around my finger. She frowned at me and tried to remove my hand.
"I'm glad she's okay." Shiemi said, smiling as she tried to get her attention again.
"I thought we lost her."
"Yeah, me too." Bon said, staring at her.
"What did Mephisto say when he saw her."
"He hasn't seen her yet. But from the phone calls I recieved of him sounding terrified at her dieing, I think he knows what happened." Aaushi looked up at me, confused.
"Oh crap, just play patty cake with Shiemi." I said, trying to cover it up. I let her go so she could play with Shiemi a few feet away.
"What's wrong?" Koneko asked.
"She doesn't remember anything, so she doesn't know about what happened. Mom said she can't remember anything before the age of three, so as she gets older with the time she spends with us, she makes new memories. So she won't remember what happened when we were kids." I smiled slightly.
"I'm actually happy for that. Then she won't remember what happened with our father. But I want to show her pictures of Margaret so she remembers her at least."
"So she doesn't remember anything about her childhood?" Shima asked, looking at her run away from Shiemi.
"Nope. She doesn't remember anything."
"Aaushi get down from there!" We all looked over. Aaushi had somehow gotten herself stuck at the top of a closet, peeking her head out from the top but otherwise her entire body was hidden up there.
"No!" She said, laying down on her stomach. I sighed and stood up, walking over to the closet.
"Aaushi, get down."
"No."
"Aaushi."
"Make me!" I sighed again and shook the closet vigorously. She shrieked and clung onto the closet, not falling off.
"Aaushi if you don't get down I'll make mom get you down." She stuck her tongue out at me.
"No you won't. You won't do anything." She sang, and it was as if my whole body froze. I couldn't move or argue against her. She giggled. After a little effort I seemed to break out of it and shook the closet again. This time she fell off, shrieking as she fell to the ground. I caught her but as soon as she realized she was safe she jumped out of my arms and went crying to Shiemi.
"Shiemi she made me fall!!" She whined. Shiemi picked her up and stroked her hair.
"Why would you scare her like that?" She asked me scoldingly.
"Hey, she's the one that climbed up on the closet!" I said back.
"And she used her powers on me!"
"What did she do?" Bon asked while Aaushi kept saying I almost killed her.
"She told me not to do anything, and I couldn't. Her power of persuasion or something." I grumbled. Aaushi cuddled with Shiemi, giving me a sad, condescending look. She seemed to make a bunch of weird baby noises, with a few distinguishable words like 'Meanie' and 'sister'. Shiemi pretended like she knew what she was saying.
