Splashes of indigo
colour the hay
Crocuses pop up
in the month of May
They wave the winter's
snow goodbye
They welcome the spring's
sun in the sky so high
Soon the world
will wake up
from her slumber so long,
Soon the warmth
will welcome her home
So let her sleep
for one more
lonely night,
So we can
party together
in the spring's
first light
And enjoy the comfort
of its gentle warmth
As the birds fly back
to their nests in the North
Let the world wake up
for another year,
Let her embrace Life,
so blissfully dear
