Background:
When Ren was born he was abandoned when he was 4 by his parents becauses they didn't want a child, Ren was force to survive alone in the wild but as he was about to passout due to hunger and exhaustion a green long lizard like dragon pokemon save him.
As for reason he was able to talk to pokemon as the pokemon that save him was Rayquaza and decided to take care of him. Ren grow up in the while as he only trust pokemon and not humans because of what happened in the past and not able to socialize with people alot at a young age which make him think his family are the pokemons and the humans are the worst scum in the world.
One day as Ren walk around the forest he saw something he hate... A human with white clothing and a Gardevoir, seeing that the Gardevoir and the human have a megastone on the he decided to spy on them for a bit but was caught by Gardevoir launching a shadow ball next to him.
The girl reveal herself as Diantha saw a kid and was wondering why it was in the forest and wanted to bring Ren back into the city to look for her parents unknowningly he is a boy. Ren would just attack Diantha at an insane speed that Diantha can barely see but was blocked by Gardevoir using Protect.
As Ren started to Fight Gardevoir which Diantha was surprise to see a human able to go toe to toe with a powerful pokemon like Gardevoir as she was losing, Diantha decided to mega evolve Gardevoir as her power was increase alot and Ren started losing until many pokemon appear from the forest started attacking Gardevoir as the pokemon heal Ren.
Some of the pokemon realize who Diantha was and ask Ren to stop attacking as he told the others to stop, a pokemon bidoof appear and say that Diantha is a champion that protect the people in Kalos as Diantha ask why she was in the forest as Ren responded saying that he belong here and not to humans which confuse Diantha since she is a human aswell.
Diantha would then leave as she have planned to do but often came back to talk to Ren and one day offer her to come and stay in her house but Ren refuse because that mean he would leave his friends and family behind.
Diantha then said that the house is close to the forest so shes can come back here anytime if she want and the pokemon encourage him to go with her as Ren agree.
