From Potter to Riddle (Mattheo riddle x oc harry potter sister)

Part 4

Sorting

We all crowded around this hat, I looked at it suspiciously. 

What is this I thought when all of a sudden it burst into song. 

After the song everybody clapped. 

I was just standing there confused and professor McGonagall took a long roll of parchment out of nowhere. 

She began calling peoples names finally she got to Draco Malfoy the hat barely touched his hair and called out Slytherin.

 Professor McGonagall looked at the list and almost did a double take. 

She straightened her hat and called Harry potter. 

I got a good look at my brother's face before the hat dropped on him.

 He has a scar on his forehead. 

I have one too but it's on my arm and it doesn't look like his.

 It has a skull on top and a snake's body.

 My aunt used to think it was cute but as i got older we started to cover it up using makeup.

 The hat sorted my brother into Gryffindor and he sat down to tremendous cheers. 

Prof. McGonagall took a deep breath" Charlotte potter "

Everything stopped, the voices, the cheers, everyone was looking at me and so I walked up and everyone got a good look at me before the hat fell on my face. 

I could hear people murmuring. 

So another potter ehh looking in your mind i think you could really do well, what house hmm SLYTHERIN. 

I took the hat off and ran to my table with loud cheers and many many handshakes and lots of looks. I finally sat down.

I could see people out of the corner of my eye taking good looks at me and my brother turning their heads back and forth. 

It was kind of silly. I sat next to Pansy and talked to Draco. 

After dinner we walked to our common room it was through a painting of a man wearing silk green robes the password was autumn.

we climbed in and separated into our dormitories i climbed into bed tired and as soon as my head hit the pillow i was out like a light.

I was in a corridor with doors lining the walls but they were all locked and the walls were slowly closing in i was panicking running up and down the hall trying doors none would open and suddenly a door sprung open and i ran inside inside was an old man and a small boy around the age of nine swiftly the door closed and when i turned i saw a drunk man walk around to the front of me he pulled my shirt so i fell on the floor i tried to get up off the floor but the kid ran at me i screamed out loud and the drunk grabbed me

I fell off the bed and came into consciousness when pansy shook me repeatedly.

 In a matter of seconds I was standing up and pulling on a robe. 

Pansy stood by the door with a confused look on her face. 

I ran into the bathroom, my face was as white as the bloody baron. 

I quickly pulled on some robes. 

I put my hood on and pushed past the girls who had crowded in our room and all the way out of the painting. 

It had been a dream I kept reminding myself as I slipped out the front doors. 

I ran into the forest and found a stream nearby. I sat listening to the running water. 

My aunt had brought me to Hogwarts to meet the staff and discuss my "Problem" .

 We had made a spot in the forest for incidents like these. 

As I sat listening to the water ripple I heard a stick snap. 

I cautiously crept towards the sound and tried not to let out a gasp when I saw it. 

Something drinking unicorn blood I silently crawled away out to the castle when I saw my reflection in the black lake. 

My hair was in desperate need of a brush.

i hurried to the dungeons and into the deserted common room.

 I tried to fight the beast that had settled in my hair.

 I finally settled on a spell. 

On my way to breakfast I took some calming breaths and when I entered the great hall I was greeted by draco.

He either didn't know or was ignoring the fact that I had a full panic attack in the morning. 

Anyway I had toast for breakfast and soon we all stood outside the potions room waiting for class to start.

 I heard somebody coming from behind me so i turned and was face to face with mattheo. 

"What do you want" i snapped. 

He just smiled and walked past me. 

I rolled my eyes and snape opened the door. 

We all clambered in and took our seats. 

He went through attendance and when he got to Harry's name he made him look stupid.

 I begun preparing for any questions he would launch at me. 

But when he got to me he paused and looked over the clipboard and smiled a little which was kinda creepy. 

And moved on to the next kids.
