From Potter to Riddle (Mattheo riddle x oc harry potter sister)

Part 7

The day before Christmas

"It can't be snape," I whispered. We were sitting in the great hall discussing the big three headed dog in the castle "why would Dumbledore leave that locked up in the castle, it must be guarding something" informed Hermione. 

"Well i don't think it's Snape, he is really nice to me" I countered. Harry sighed "well we don't know until we find out who Nicholas Flamel is." I was tapped on the shoulder so I turned to see Draco standing there. 

He was leaving to be with his family and I promised to walk him to the station. I was staying at Hogwarts to spend my first Christmas with my brother. I got up from the table and grabbed Harry's coat because I forgot my own and walked with Draco who was pulling on his backpack.

We walked past the windows and I took a quick look outside and noticed two red heads having a snowball fight. I walked down talking with Draco. He turned and gave me a hug. " il send dobby to collect my present from you" I giggled "ok, bye now have fun" the train started going and i watched it until it had completely disappeared from sight, now for my master plan.

 I found a bucket and packed snow in it. I climbed the stairs to the astronomy tower and sat near the edge i made some snowballs and threw them listening for the soft thunk of the snowballs hitting their target. 

I laughed as they looked blindly around for what hit them. I scooped more up and threw some rapid fire. I laughed as they ducked for cover when they noticed the many snowballs heading for them. I laughed and they finally found me sitting at the top of the tower. 

They motioned for me to come down so when i made it to the bottom i was pelted by snowballs laughing i fought back. Later in the day a teacher came running out of the school it was snape. He came running down yelling at us about how snowball fights were banned and it clearly stated in the rules. 

George and Fred looked guilty and I could tell they were about to lie so I wouldn't get in trouble so I spoke up. 

"Sorry professor snape i didn't know, i kinda started it, i won't do it again" he did a double take when he saw me "why are you wearing Gryffindor" i didn't realize i was still in Harry's jacket " oh i borrowed my brothers jacket" he let us off with a warning and we trooped back inside smiling and red faced i threw the jacket back on to the table and continued to laugh with Fred while harry was getting destroyed in chess.

Christmas day

I woke up and danced around my empty dormitory the only other person in Slytherin was Mattheo but not even he could ruin my mood. I sat in the common room reading a muggle book called Mulan. He came and sat next to me and looked over my shoulder. He pointed at a small picture of the dragon. 

The light caught on one of his rings and the glare almost blinded me. I grabbed his hand to take a closer look it was a small ring made of silver and had a green Jem in the middle. I realized our position our face inches away from each other i pushed his hand away almost pushing him of the sofa and almost toppling with him. 

He looked at me and then the ground and made the decision to fall down to the ground pulling me down with him. I landed on top of his chest with my hands braced on either side of him. He laughed while I pushed myself off of him. 

"You know we are the only Slytherins that stayed this winter," he said as I pushed my way out of the portrait. I walked down to the great hall and smelt the amazing smells of turkey and everything and couldn't walk any faster. I hurried into the great hall and sat next to Harry and enjoyed some quick breakfast. And hurried for a quick walk around the grounds.

Christmas morning.

I woke up early and made my way to the tree with Mattheo and sat down and opened some gifts' i got some books from my friends and i opened this one with silvery paper. It said it was from my parents. 

I opened it up and inside was a cloke I put it on and walked around it's a bit hard to see through Woah where did you go Said Mattheo when i threw the clock over my shoulders what do u mean i said looking down, i had vanished i had no body i threw it over my head and grabbed a box and threw it at him laughing. 

I sat down to open the rest and found some new clothes from my aunt and some chocolate and candy from my uncle. My cousin got me some muggle candy I love. I opened a bag of Doritos and sat down on the couch. Watching him open his presents.

 I peeked at some of the names on the gifts and for a fact I knew these people were death eaters who had evaded Azkaban. He noticed me looking and nodded to the gifts under the tree " it's always been like that the supporters of my father send me gifts, and the enemies send me cursed stuff" he said looking over the stuff. 

We finished opening gifts in silence. I opened this gift in red and yellow. It was a green and white knitted sweater with some chocolate frogs. I put on the sweater and left the common room and made my way to the great hall. 

Harry and Ron were sitting at a big table in the middle of the hall i sat next to harry and 3 more gifts appeared from the teachers Ron said motioning to the packages next to me i opened the first one it was from professor McGonagall it had a muggle gift in it it was a science kit next from Dumbledore it was full of muggle candy and the last one was from professor snape with some new gloves that had the potion in it so i could wear the new gloves to help my hands. 

I was eating some toast when an owl dropped something on me. It was a small package when I opened it and a ring was in it on a chain. It was silver and had a green jewel on it. I looked at the entrance to the great hall and saw Mattheo leaving the hall with a smile on his face.

 I stood up from the table and ran after him through the halls he ran and I chased. I finally caught up with him and tackled him to the ground. He stared at the ground and blushed. "Did you like it"? He said quietly 

"yeah" I said helping him up " why though, like I know I am amazing but why" he just shrugged.
