From Potter to Riddle (Mattheo riddle x oc harry potter sister)

Part 9

Diagon alley

"Come on draco" I said, pulling him through the crowd. He had disappeared before and I wasn't going to let him again. 

He stopped to tie his shoes and show me the order form for the 7 nimbus 2001s. "That's nice, anyway come on" I said , pulling him back on his feet. I pulled him to the animal shop. "Ok and why are we here? I already have an owl" he said, wrinkling his face at the smell. 

" cause auntie gave me permission to get a cat" i looked around at the different animals and found my way to the cats all shapes and colors they all began surrounding us purring. I spotted a small pair of eyes staring at me from under a shelf. 

I leaned forward and fell on my knees. I pulled the small ball of fur out of hiding. It was a kitten, all black. It was a little dusty so I quickly brushed the dust off and it started purring and cuddling right away. I picked it up while still cuddling.

 Me and Draco made our way to the front of the store. The shopkeeper told us it was a boy and he was 4 months old. He turned around and showed us the selection of collars and then pointed out the cat food and the toys and the crates. 

I slowly went through the selection of collars and found a light green collar with a bell. Draco came back with treats and some toys plus a small basket for the cat to sleep in. 

I found a magical crate that expands while the cat grows and made my way to the front where I got to choose his name. I thought hard, Leo, I said confidently. Leo curled up in the crate purring. I paid for the stuff and left the shop.

Draco wandered off with Lucius and I showed auntie cissa our new member of the family. Leo immediately warmed up to her. 

My aunt took us for some ice cream. I got chocolate and whipped cream on top and got draco plain vanilla ice cream because he is blonde. We looked around until we spotted some gingers and old people fighting. 

Oh wait, that's Draco and my uncle never mind. I walk in between the fighting and step over to where Draco is standing. I passed his ice cream and we watched the fight. Mrs Weasley tried to stop her husband and my aunt tried to stop my uncle. 

I was silently egging them on when the fighting was stopped by Hagrid pulling them apart. My uncle pushed off of Hagrid and pulled us out of the store. Muttering stuff like stupid mudbloods and stuff like that.

 I looked at draco and rolled my eyes. I took Leo from my aunt and fed him some treats as we finished our shopping. We finally floo powdered back to the mansion and got our trunks ready for hogwarts. 

We sat quietly at the table enjoying the meal when my Uncle broke the silence. "So Charlie you were chosen to tutor the dark lords boy"? "Unfortunately" I said , rolling my eyes. He looked excited and hurried to go write a letter. 

I looked at Draco who was helping himself to some ice cream cake and excused myself from the table. I slowly walked up the steps to my room and once inside I flopped on the bed and pulled Leo closer. 

He comes over and drops a small ball in my lap, I smile and throw the ball which proceeds to bounce around the room in every direction. 

He jumps and tries to catch it and is wiggling around on the floor, when draco walks into my room the ball flies past his face. He spins around as Leo runs past him attempting to grab the ball. I laugh as runs so fast down the stairs that he almost falls.

 I call the ball back and it comes zooming into my hand and Leo comes racing through the door but forgot Draco was there and puts on the brakes and slams into the back of his legs. 

He laughs as Leo jumps on the bed and starts purring in my lap. ''Anyway , are you ready for tomorrow?" he asks, jumping on the bed. 

"Yeah super excited i can't wait for you know what" i said rolling my eyes i pushed him off the bed and onto the floor "goodnight" i said waving my hand to turn off the lights he laughed and left leaving the door open i closed it with a wave of a hand and slipped off into a peaceful slumber.
