From Potter to Riddle (Mattheo riddle x oc harry potter sister)

Part 5

After classes I made my way to the library and decided to finish some homework because some teachers seem to have forgotten it's our first day back. I was writing an essay about the use of a bezoar. As I listened to the soft scratch of my quill against the paper I heard footsteps approaching me rapidly. I turned just in time to see a girl covered in books fall to the ground immediately i jump out of my seat to go help and begin pulling books off of her i helped her up and took in her appearance she had bushy hair like a lion and her gryffindor robes i quickly loaded my hands full of books and carried them to the table i was studying at .she sat down and i offered her a piece of chocolate. 

She took it, let out a big sigh and thumped to the table. I jumped up immediately and pulled her back. We talked for a couple hours until the librarian told us to get lost. We ran into the halls now realizing we had skipped dinner. We separated and went our separate ways but I got lost. I was wandering the halls for some time until a door opened up in front of me and in it held plates on plates of food my stomach grumbled and i heard something coming so i ran into this room and closed the door i ate some steak and potatoes and left quietly . 

until i found the bloody baron wandering around i ran over quietly and looked around quickly once i saw that there was nobody i whispered i am lost can you help me he made motions to follow him so i did he dropped me off at the portrait and left i walking and got tackled by my cousin. " Where have you been?" he asks as he pulls me off the ground. I rub my head hard muttering i got lost he looks tired i pull him to the staircase and put him in his room.

 I open the door to my dormitory and notice Pansy turning in her sleep. I walk over and put my hand on her forehead. I get a glimpse of huge spiders climbing around and pansy in the middle. I shake my head and softly shake pansy awake. "You were having a bad dream" i say. As I get ready for bed she moves like she is going to say something but decides against it and just lies down. I softly lay down and slowly drop off to sleep.

Halloween day

I am awakened to a bang coming out the door. All 4 of us in the dorm run towards the door. I reach the door first and pull it open and fall down what used to be stairs but now is a slide. I crash into Draco at the bottom, I laugh and pull him up he grins " I'll be right back" I say while trying to control my laughter. Once I reach the top I enter the room and collapse in silent laughter. I slowly get myself ready for class and once im done me and pansy walk to the great hall and meet Draco talking quietly with Mattheo.

 I ignore him and si beside pansy. I have some french toast and some bacon. Pansy left halfway through breakfast to run back to the dormitory because she forgot her book for DADA. I walked along with Draco Crabbe and Goyle. Until Hermione came running,I walked in step with her until we reached the classroom. She looked kind of scared. "Are you ok?" I whisper as we enter the classroom. She just nods. I find my seat and sit down waiting for pansy to show up she comes in running as the bell rings she smiles and winks. 

Professor Quirrell was showing us slideshows of different creatures i noticed he watched me a lot as if waiting for me to slip up i looked into the eyes of the professor and suddenly i had visions of a forest and leaves were crushing i looked around it looked like a young professor Quirrell. Suddenly I felt someone shaking me repeatedly. I snapped out of the vision. I quickly grabbed my stuff and pushed it into my bag without looking anyone in the face. I ran straight out of the classroom.

 Running through the halls of hogwarts was the most calm i ever felt. I found the exit out and ran down the path but instead of going to the gamekeepers hut i ran into the forest stumbling around in the darkness until my eyes got used to it i finally sat under a tree taking several deep breaths. I looked at my shaking hands. They were as pale as Draco's face. They were ghost white i looked around and saw some mud. 

I covered them in mud so it wasn't obvious. I don't know how long I sat there for but when I got up I heard a small crack. I turned to the sound and noticed a beautiful creature standing there half human half horse "Woah"i said staring fixated at this creature the one in the front looked me up and down. "Hello human i am bane this is our forest what are you doing here" he said "i sometimes need somewhere to go or i lost control" i answered "then follow me i have the place for you" i followed him for a good five minutes by then the others dispersed he led me to a small like hole in the ground surrounded by trees he also showed me how to get there for the castle i shook his hand and said thank you. 

Before he left he turned and looked me in the face and said "beware the woods are not safe right now" i stood rooted to the spot where he left me. When I finally snapped out of it . i walked up to the castle and snape met me halfway he pulled me into a old classroom and gave me a pair of gloves and then just left. I looked at the gloves suspiciously like I have been taught to examine the fabric. 

They were just normal gloves so I slipped them on and made my way to lunch. I sat with Harry and Ron at the Gryffindor table and watched them eat (I wasn't hungry). i had herbology after lunch with the hufflepuffs so i left early and walked down the the greenhouses early and just sat in the grass,lost in thought i pulled off my gloves and saw that they had little to no color in them i was busy inspecting my hand so i didn't notice footsteps behind me until he had grabbed my shoulder i jumped up pulling on my gloves. I pulled his tie so his face was inches from mine " you tell anyone what you saw and i will kill you with no hesitation" i spat he just smiled and grabbed his tie out of my grip.

During the feast

I was in the wash room when i heard someone crying. I knocked on the door and Hermione opened it. I saw that she had been crying for a while i opened my arms to hug her and she rushed into the hug. I led her over to the sinks to wash her face. After awhile she calmed down and told me what harry and ron said i promised i would deal with them.

 I sat on the floor and she sat with me. "Why aren't you at the feast?" she asked. I took a deep breath and reminded her it was the night my parents died "i don't celebrate halloween now, when i was younger my aunt made our staff stand behind doors and give my and my cousin treats sort of like trick or treating, but anyway it reminds me of that night so i don't think about it so much"

 i stood up and helped her stand " do you smell that" i say while plugging my nose. "Probably myrtle clogged the toilets again" she replies. I laugh and turn towards the door and gasp
