Frigg walked in with ragnar behind her, she was holding bunch of sticks
"Mother ragnar had came"
She mumbled and walked to her younger sister
"Did you free floki helga?"
Ragnar asked sitting next to her
"I don't know i might have done"
Ragnar nodded slightly not knowing what to say, helga looked at him before turning to her daughter
"Angrboda come"
Angrboda caughed as helga wrapped her cloth around her, frigg looked at ragnar nervously
"I don't blame you it is your duty as a wife"
Helga looked at him
"Floki loves you"
"He only loves himself"
Ragnar responded to helga, frigg looked at the ground playing with her fingers feeling awkward in the talk
"You know that better then anyone"
Helga looked at ragnar nervously, ragnar coughed a bit sitting on the stone
"Winters coming whatever happens you and your children will need to eat"
Ragnar gave helga a bag
"It's food"
Ragnar left without saying a word, helga opened the bag giving a piece of bread to both children
Ubbe looked around the place of wilderness before seeing a man, he pointed
"He's up there! Get him!"
Ubbe yelled, the hunter started running there, once floki saw them he ran
"Hurry! After him!"
Ubbe looked around with the hunter, he then turned to the water walking there, he realized that it was floki
"He's here! He's here!"
Two hunters jumped to the water grabbing floki, floki trashed around in the water trying to get out of there grip
"Pull him out!"
With the help of four man he got to land, floki screamed as ubbe and hvitserk watched
Frigg ran through the crowd yelling after she had found out her father was captured, crimson held frigg holding her from running to floki, ubbe and hvitserk ran next to ragnar, frigg fell to the ground after feeling helpless she watched as her father was tied in a rope preventing him from running
"The great floki!"
Helga walked through the crowd and looked at her husband shocked and sad
"Captured by mere children"
Frigg looked at ragnar while crying, crimson still held frigg on the ground looking at floki
"Why didn't the gods protect you?, why didn't they hide you better from innocent eyes? Could it be!"
Ragnar sat up from his chair looking at floki
"That the gods were not interested in not saving him? Because they are angry at you?"
Ragnar asked floki who dint respond to his question
"Is there anything you want to say to that?"
Ragnar asked floki again, floki looked at his wife helga then frigg who was weeping on the ground looking at him, he turned back to Ragnar
"I've said it all"
Ragnar sighed and scoffed before turning to helga who looked at him with sad and pleeding eyes, he then turned back to floki
"Bring him forward please"
The hunters bring him forward as he said, they all stopped when he motioned to
"you make me suffer and now i shall make you suffer and i've got such a wonderful punishment for you, you'll probably appreciate it too see i borrowed it from the gods its very imaginative it goes on and on and on... And on nothing heroic no chance to impress the gods"
Ragnar then leaned into the chair again, the hunters took away floki, the crowd followed and cheer, ragnar's gaze turned to frigg who still on the ground with crimson behind her whispering comforting stuff, her face was covered by her hair but it was clear she was sadden by his decision
Helga was in the snow hitting the ground with a shovel, frigg was next to a dead body her sisters body in fact, she was watching her mother try bury a grave in the cold
"What are you doing up here?"
Ragnar question looking at helga in shock, she continued to hit the ground with shovel
"I am trying to dig a grave can't you see? For my daughter"
Ragnar looked at frigg before turning to helga
"What did she died of"
"Does it matter?"
She answered sobbing and continued to hit the ground, ragnar grabbed the shovel looking at her
"Have you told floki?"
"No-"
Helga answered she was clearly sad and scared, ragnar grabbed the shovel from her and started to dig the ground, after a hole was made helga carried her dead daughter, frigg watched her mother carried her now death sister to the hole, ragnar placed the child gently to the hole as helga placed her arms around frigg keeping her close to her
"Thor came into a deep channel the sun dazzled upon the water"
His children and wife were listening to ragnar, solaine was in aslaug's lap listening and watching ragnar
"On the far bank a figure spraweld in the sun his flat bottomed boat besides him "hey!" Yell thor "you over there are you the ferryman and who's ferry is that? The figure stand up he cupped his hand and shouted " hildolf! The slaughter wolf entrusted it to me! And he has given me my orders!, so if you want cross here, tell me your name!" Demanded the ferryman "mmmm i'll tell you I'm the son of odin the strongest god of them all so ferryman! You are talking to Thor!" The gods words made waves in the water, they broke! The ferryman's feet "now tell me your name!" Said thor and the ferryman he stood up"
Ragnar said while standing up in sync
"And he shouted "my name is harbard! I seldom hide it""
Ragnar bit into the raw fishes head looking at aslaug, he spit the fish out sitting down while taking some out of his mouth
"Have you ever met harbard?"
"No not i perhaps your mother has?"
Hvitserk turned to his mother, ragnar had an evil grin
"We should eat"
Aslaug said picking up solaine in her arms while standing up
"In the spring will you take us to paris? Me and hvitserk?"
Ubbe asked looking at ragnar
"We must celebrate yol first it's the heart of winter"
Aslaug then walked away with hvitserk, sigurd and solaine
"But will bjorn be back for yol?"
"I do not know if or when your brother will return"
Aslaug looked at ragnar before looking at ubbe jestering to him to come
"Come and eat"
Ubbe stood up walking with them, in the great hall a thrall picked up a red cloth walking to aslaug showing it, aslaug smiled looking at the cloth, Ragnar walked into the great hall grabbing an axe from a men, aslaug smile fell and she watched her husband walked off...
