Freyja sat in a bed humming a song to solaine, she hushed as she heard the door open placing solaine on the bed, turning to ivar in the door
"What is wrong ivar?"
Ivar used his crutches to walk to the bed looking at a sleeping solaine
"I wanted to see solaine"
Ivar looked up to freyja who held her stomach
"And how is the child inside of you?"
"They are strong ivar most likely a boy"
Ivar smiled slightly feeling a bit sad, turning back to solaine
"What about you ivar? How have you been"
"I've been... Good"
Freyja sighed and walked to him, she placed her hand on his cheek forcing him to look up at her blue eyes
"Do not lie to me ivar, i've known you since were born"
Ivar looked at her deeply holding the hand on his cheek, freyja eyes soften looking at him she spoke in a soft tone
"You must go to bed"
Freyja spoke, ivar looked back at her pecking a kiss on her forehead before leaving, freyja stood there watching ivar leave her hands on her stomach as she felt it go upside down
In the morning, adeline sat in a chair braiding athena's hair her hands were soft as she braided pieces of hair, one by one, the door swang open making adeline turn to the person, hvitserk stood there looking at both his sister and the princess
"Brother"
Hvitserk raised his eyebrows before walking to the chair while drinking the ale in his hand, adeline sighed and continued to braid the young girls hair, hvitserk watched adeline and athena as he continued to refill and drink the ale, freyja opened the door looking at them
"There calling us"
Adeline smiled softly st athena walking out with her, freyja and hvitserk followed behind and walking to the docks with the other people
"It is beautiful"
Ivar looked as the horn blows and the ships swam towards shore, ivar then crawled towards the boats where solaine,adeline and hvitserk were
"It is time! How ive been impatient, now i can fulfil my promises to the gods and kill lagertha"
Adeline walked past both of her brothers getting into the blat, as hvitserk helped ivar on the boat once ivar clapped his hands hvitserk sighed holding onto a fabric
"I'm ready to avenge our mother not because she was a good mother to me, but lagertha deserves it"
"That's good enough to me"
Ivar then turned to hvitserk snickering
"But are you ready to deal with ubbe? Will you kill him if you have too, even if he is your own flesh and blood"
Ivar turned to both of his sister's waiting for a response
"If i kill ubbe won't my fame be assured?"
Hvitserk hit ivar's chest walking away, ivar tilted his head looking at hvitserk laughing
"That's the way to talk!"
