Solaine watched as sigurd's lifeless body was in the boat, ubbe placed an axe next to him before turning to ivar who stared at the lifeless body of his brother who he had killed in anger, solaine was sitting far away from ivar then usual, she was staring at her hands as it was shaking non stop, hvitserk sighed and held her hand with his
"I know what you're all thinking, but it is not true i didn't mean to kill him he made me kill him, he taunted me, he made fun of me what was i supposed to do? What kind of man taunt and tell lies about his own brother"
"And what lies does he tell?"
Ivar looked at solaine who was not looking at him one bit
"Well you know that as well as i do, hvitserk"
"He said you weren't a real man"
Solaine looked at ivar who sighed
"And what would you have done if he had said that to you ubbe?, what would you have done if you were "a real man"?"
Ubbe looked at ivar before drinking his ale
"I swear to the gods and everything that is sacred that i never mean to kill him"
Solaine stood up pudding the chair to the floor banging her fist on the table
"But you did!"
Solaine yelled as hvitserk held her arm
"Sister you know anger overcame me, and i wasn't thinking i am truly sorry"
Ivar opened his mouth to say something but kept it shut, he grabbed his helmet crawling off
"And what are we gonna do to freyja?"
Solaine asked making everyone turn to her
"She is pregnant with sigurd's child and she was supposed to marry him"
Bjorn pointed his finger at her before responding
"We cannot marry her off to you ivar you just killed her bethored"
Adeline sighed looking at them
"What about you hvitserk? You free to marry freyja"
Hvitserk looked at adeline drinking his ale shrugging his shoulder
"I guess"
Ivar huffed and crawled out angrily, solaine rolled her eyes and walked out of the tent
Solaine walked through a tent, freyja was in a chair holding her small bump on her stomach, frigg was speaking in old norse as she massaged freyja's hand, frigg turned to solaine smiling a little
"Freyja you have a visitor"
Freyja opened her eyes looking at solaine, solaine nodded and hugged her, freyja hugged her tight whispering
"Thank you"
Solaine held her close before pulling away, she sat next to freyja as she looked nervously
"What is it girl?"
Solaine couldn't speak as she was stuttering, freyja sat up grabbing her hand
"Solaine?"
Solaine looked at her before speaking
"We know that you have lost your bethored... But we were thinking of marrying you off to hvitserk"
Freyja looked at frigg who shrugged, solaine turned to frigg
"What about you frigg? Aren't you going to see your father leave"
