Morgan laid down on her back on her bed, looking at her phone, waiting for a message from James. She sighs sadly and tosses her phone to the side of her bed and stared at her bedroom ceiling. It's been a day since she last say him at the Avengers Crash Cite.
Morgan suddenly hears rocks bouncing off her window cell. She raises her head to see another tiny rock bounce off her window. Annoyed, she slides off her bed and opens her window. She looks out to see James. She rolls her eyes playfully and calls, "James, what on Earth are you doing?"
James shrugs his shoulders and calls back to her, "To end your pain!" Morgan laughs and rests her weight on the window cell. "What are you talking about, Silly Head? What pain?"
James nods to her, "Don't lie to me, Morgan. You're hurt. And you've been hurt for as long as I have. I recently got rid of the pain, and I know how to cure yours." Morgan smiles and shakes her head, "What are you talking about, James?"
Morgan suddenly hears a strong, familiar, muscular voice behind her, "Actually it's quiet easy to figure out what he's talking about, you're just closed off to the possibility because you don't want to get you're hopes up."
She quickly turns her back to the window seal, not catching James' delighted smirk, to see a man. He has dark brown hair, and is dressed like a millionaire. "Hello, Morgan," The man says softly.
Morgan gasps and raises her hands to her mouth, eyes watering. She blinks away her tears before managing to whisper, "Dad?" Tony stretches out his arms and Morgan doesn't fight the urge to rush into her father's arms. She burrows her head deeper into his chest, letting her tears flow from her eyes. Tony rests his chin on top her head and stayed silent for a while before smirking, "You know, I knew you'd become friends with Roger's kid, I just never thought that you'd develop a crush on him."
Morgan's eyes shoot open and she pushes away from her father, "I don't have a crush on James! Dad, I promise, we're just friends! Just friends!!" Her eyes were filled with fear and worry.
Tony chuckled, "Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt him. I already gave him my blessing."
Morgan tilted her head to one side, making her hair lay flat on her neck. "What do you mean that 'you already gave him your blessing'?"
Tony nods to her door, "Go downstairs and find out." Tony said with a hint of Pride and contentedness in his voice. Morgan looks at her father confusedly and cautiously makes her way down the red velvet stairs. Once she reaches the last step, she hear the door bell ring once. "Coming!!" She calls. She unlocks the door and opens it to reveal James, holding a bouquet of pink roses. Morgan gasps in surprise and gratefully takes the bouquet and smells the flowers. She sighs contently, "James, these are beautiful! But You aren't here to just talk, now, are you?"
James shakes his head delightedly. He rises up on his heels and resumes back to normal height and smiles, "Will you be my girlfriend?"
Morgan gasps and laughs, "Of course! Yes!!" The two embrace, not noticing the two smirks coming from Pepper and Tony at the bottom of the stair case.
Natalee pops out of nowhere and shouts, "TOOK Y'ALL LONG ENOUGH!!"
Morgan and James both just laugh and looked lovingly into each others eyes.
