Everything Has To Complete Its Course

Hello peoples! This is still in James' POV. This takes place after Steve comes back as an old man. Enjoy and thank you  for reading.

Dad told me to meet him by the lake. I'm walking down the walkway to the lake. Natalee is holding my hand while were walking down hill. With dad gone so often now, I decided to teach her to walk. Dad was static when she took her first steps towards him, calling out his name. An old man is talking to someone, and hands him dad's shield. Outraged, I rush to them. Then a strong arm spreads out in front my chest.  I look up to the person. He has a metal arm, black messy  hair and a handsome face. The person shakes his head. 

I look ahead, the man puts the shield on his arm and thanks the old man. the man beside me then yells, "Steve! Your kids are here!" The old man looks at us and follows the younger man he was talking to to our place. Who the heck are you and what have you done with my dad?" 

The old man chuckles and says, "I am your father." I look closer at the man to see that he was right. I embraced him then pointed at the two people. "Who are they?" Dad Pointed to the man he gave his shield to, "This is Sam." the the man who held me back. "And this is your Uncle Bucky."

"Dad ... you're old nw, you won't be able to take care of me or Natalee." I said somberly.

"Thats why you're going to live with Bucky. I trust him." Dad explained.

Uncle Bucky knelt down to my head and winked. "You're mother and I used to be boyfriend and girlfriend before Died." 

Steve shook his head. "I don't think they need to know that," Uncle Bucky laughed, "I know, I just told them that for fun." I rolled my eyes. 

I wonder if Dad and Uncle Bucky are actually brothers or they have a family bond like Mom and Uncle Clint. I ask silently "Are y'all actually brothers or is it the same relationship with mom and Uncle Clint?"

"Same," Uncle Bucky and Dad said at the same time.

Dad suddenly gasped and clutched his chest where his heart would be, and crumbled to the floor. "Get Banner!" Uncle Bucky ordered Sam. Sam rushed off into the woods. "come on Rogers, stay with me!" The Hulk appeared and knelt by dad's side. Natalee started to walk toward us to see the comotion. 

"Dont let her get to close," said Hulk. Sam grabbed and soothed her as she cried. "It's Okay Natalee," I called to her. 

Dad starts to cough out blood. "BANNER FIGURE SOMETHING OUT!" Uncle Bucky shouted. The Hulk did a whole check up before replying with a sigh, "I'm sorry there's nothing that I can do." 

I watched helplessly as I felt dad's heartbeat slowly come to a stop. Uncle Bucky heaved a sigh and bowed his head, mourning the lost of his closet friend. The First Avenger ...Had reached the end of his life.
