You find yourself at a nightclub in downtown Yokohama, dancing to the beat of the music. The crowd is packed, and you're surrounded by people, but you can't help feeling a bit lonely. You're not quite sure why you came here tonight, but something drew you to this place.
As you dance, you catch the eye of a man across the room. He's wearing a suit, and his hair is styled in a neat, professional manner. He looks like he doesn't quite belong in this setting, but there's something intriguing about him.
The man starts to make his way through the crowd, and you feel your heart start to race as he gets closer. When he reaches you, he introduces himself as Edogawa Ranpo.
"May I have this dance?" he asks, extending his hand.
You nod, feeling a sense of excitement as he takes your hand and leads you onto the dance floor. The music is loud and pulsing, and you feel yourself getting lost in the rhythm.
As you dance, you can't help but notice Ranpo's intense gaze on you. It's as if he's trying to read your thoughts, to figure you out.
"You move like a she wolf," he says, leaning in close to your ear so he can be heard over the music.
You laugh, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"I'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult," you say.
"It's a compliment," he says, his eyes locking onto yours. "You're wild and free, unafraid to show the world who you are."
You feel a sense of warmth spread through your chest at his words. For some reason, you feel like Ranpo understands you in a way that no one else ever has.
The rest of the night passes in a blur of music and dancing. As the club starts to clear out, Ranpo takes your hand and leads you out onto the street.
"Would you like to take a walk with me?" he asks.
You nod, feeling a sense of excitement as you follow him down the street. As you walk, you can feel his hand in yours, warm and strong.
"I know we just met," he says, breaking the silence. "But there's something about you that draws me to you. Would you like to see me again?"
You look up at him, feeling a sense of connection that you can't quite explain.
"I would like that very much," you say, smiling.
Ranpo smiles back, and you feel a sense of joy that you haven't felt in a long time. As the two of you continue down the street, hand in hand, you can't help but feel like your life is about to change in a big way.
