She woke up the next morning in her bed, she shifted on her side as her hand grabbed her head due to slight pain it had, y/n bolted up realising that last night she slept in her cab and did not know how she got into her bed.
She looked for her phone finding it on the table of her kitchen, she still doesn't recall her waking up in the cab and getting to her apartment, she also knew she couldn't have done that since she would never leave her phone in the kitchen, she also remembers everything else clearly, the man who's car she was in, his body, his face, his voice. Could it have been he put her to bed, shaking her head she began making herself breakfast because her stomach growled for food.
The thoughts still seem to roam her mind that entire day, she worked at an illustration and publishing company which was famous for releasing known books and illustrations, she couldn't focus at all that day, seeing her contorted expression as she stared at the paper in front of her which was blank, her boss laughed at the sight in front of him but he also grew worried as he'd never seen y/n slack off during work or act such.
Walking to her desk he took the paper from her hand causing her to come out of her thoughts and look up at him, he simply asked her if there was something wrong, she knew she couldn't tell him about the incident from last night as it might worry him and it wasn't necessary to be told so she told him how she hadn't slept well the night before to get him to leave, she kind of disliked her boss due to his alcohol and other bad addictions, once at a party he almost cracked a glass on her so she both fears and dislikes him since then while he feels more comfortable around her since she's seen his silly nature after he's drunk.
Her boss asked her to take the day off and go home to rest if she hadn't had a good sleep, y/n walked outside her workplace sighing at the fact she had to lie, not knowing what to do she simply went back to her apartment.
Walking to her apartment she saw the car that had picked her up yesterday stood on the same road, she walked towards it to see no one inside, she thought it could be the same model parked there as she went inside her apartment building not knowing...
