She woke up by her doorbell going off constantly, it annoyed her and angered her as she walked and opened her door in anger to see cops again at her apartment door, there were alot of police that surrounded her building currently both from outside and inside, the officer then informed her about her neighbor.
Y/n's wide open as she got told how her neighbor too was slaughtered by whom they claim as some group of people that broke into his apartment in the dead night and murdered him, taking away only one thing from his place which was his phone, the police interrogated her as she told the police everything even brought the box of images to them, the police noted everything she said to them and they told her to not worry as they'll be patrolling the area better and keeping regular checks on her building.
As soon the police left, y/n changed her clothes as she barely ate some breakfast before going out, staying inside her apartment was eating her brain, she went out to a park as she down on a bench from where she could see a nice scenery in front of her, the lake, the trees and the sky, she sat there for some hours until her stomach growled for food, walking to a nearby food place she got herself some food to eat.
Her mind was so clouded with thoughts and emotions she didn't realise as it got dark outside, she then decided it was better to head home then roam around, reaching her apartment there were still some policemen roaming around, she was unlocking her door when she was approached by who seemed to be one of the friends of her neighbor, he asked her to come at his friend's funeral, she apologized to him regarding his friends death and accepted to attend the funeral.
Right after laying in her bed she felt herself fall asleep, she was exhausted not physically but mentally at this point, it was as if this was a nightmare taking place in reality.
No figure emerged into her room this night and no one sat beside her glancing at her sleep.
