💀James POV💀
Evan slept downstairs last night as we scavenged the surrounding houses for some supplies for the road. While scavenging it just made me sick to see my dead neighbors as walkers and eaten up. Some of them were nice but others I had always swore at under my breath when they would scream at me. But this? No I wouldn't want this. I wouldn't have wanted them to die whether it be walkers or....I don't even know what's worse.

"James! You done up there or what?" Dad screams. "Almost." I look in the bathroom and find some Advil, cotton balls, tooth brush and tooth paste. Nothing much else. I guess hygiene wasn't there first plan for this. I head downstairs, "Okay let's go back home and pack some clothes and sleeping bags, we don't know how the living conditions will be like in Atlanta." Dad says. We walk back to our house after clearing a few houses on our block. Surprisingly no walkers in any of the houses. Maybe they're all going to Atlanta as well? We'll just have to wait and see I guess. As we get home I see Evan, Mom, Mr. and Mrs. Revan, Leeanne and Molly packing up.

Once we walked in everybody gasped at how much medical and hygienic supplies we have. "Guys we shouldn't be taking this much! When our neighbors come back after this whole thing blows over they are going to want their stuff back." Mrs. Revan tells us. "But miss-" my dad cuts me off. "Lisa we will give them their stuff back eventually. Besides if they wanted it that bad they would have taken it with them." "True" Mrs. Revan replies. "Are y'all ready to go?" Evan asks. "No let me pack really quick. It'll take like five minutes." I run upstairs to get my stuff ready.

How much should I pack? Probably just for a few nights. I pack my hoodie jacket with a skull on the front. I remember Aunt Jodie gave me this. *sigh* I wish she could be with us now. It sucks to think that I don't even know if she's alive or dead. I pack the rest of my clothes without thinking and rush downstairs. I see Evan roll out front in this pick-up truck getting ready to go. "Come on let's go before sun down and maybe we can get to Atlanta by tomorrow." Evan said. "Put your stuff in the back and tie it up good." I put my bag in the back of our car since we had room. Dad put his gun in our car. The only people that actually put our luggage in Evans car was Mrs. Revan and Molly.

Our car wasn't very good. Wasn't fast, wasn't gas efficient, beaten down. Nothing good about it. My dad pulls out our car. Evan sees it and smirks a little. "So that's your car huh? Well I reckon y'all stay back a bit and let me take a lead. If worse comes to worse and there are some ahead I'll just ram 'em with my truck." Leeanne looks up at me. "Psst James." "What is it Leeanne?" I ask. She looks around. "I have to pee!" She tells me. "Than go we aren't leaving yet." Just as I say that, I hear Evans truck start. I scream "Evan wait! Leeanne has to use the restroom." "Does it look like I care?" Evan says. "Wait what?" I ask. "As he puts his truck in drive he screams "Thanks for the food!" And he drives off. "No! You dirty little-" dad cuts himself off by pulling out his gun. "Dad no! The walkers could hear us!" I tell him.

"AAAGGHHH!" He screams. Mr. Revan pulls out his car quickly. He gets out and runs to see my dad on the floor. "Is he hurt?! I heard the scream!" "No but that guy Evan just took half our food which we so cleverly put in Molly's bag." My dad says. Molly looks at my dad in disgust. "What are you saying this was my fault?" Molly says/screams.

"You were the one who suggested we put the food in their considering we didn't trust this man. Oh but noooo you had to be the one to trust him!" My dad screams.

Mr. Revan appears in front of Molly. "Don't you dare talk to my daughter like that."

He says. "Whatever..." My dad replies. We get more food after more scavenging but not as much as we had before. Maybe two days worth for all of us. The next morning we head out. Me and my family in our car, Molly and her parents in the other car. I start to think. If Evan has been lying to us this whole time, than what else did he lie about?
