Chapter-3

Nandini's POV'

Finally It's weekend and I can sleep peacefully.. Mr.Sun was trying to peep in from my curtained window but I'm not gonna budge today.. I snuggled in my duvet but I woke up startled when mom dad barged in my room jumping happily..

"Nandu uth ja aaj shrey vapis aa raha hai.."

All my sleepiness flew away listening it.. my baby brother is finally coming back from Germany after completing his masters..

"Really.!?" I asked to confirm whether it's real or I'm hallucinating..

"Sachme nandu shrey is coming back today.." Dad said with a proud grin..

I pinched myself and mom dad chuckled on my act. They went out to prepare for his arrival while I chucked off the blanket and went to complete my morning buisness, brushed my teeth and took a long warm shower..

I got ready in my white halter neck top and black high waisted ripped jeans.. Wore my watch, sprayed some perfume and in exception wore some rings and applied gloss and winged liner.. Satisfied with my look I wore black boots to complete the gothic look..

I went downstairs and bid bye to mom dad to go to airport to pick my baby brother..

I reached airport and saw him coming out from the airport I ran towards him and grabbed his handbag to look for my gift.. He shook his head at my antics. He  chuckled and pulled my cheeks.. I glared him and continued my gift hunt..

I grinned when I found what I was looking for.. Box of German Chocolates..

I hugged him and we both reached home..

It was like a festival. With varieties and varieties of food dishes.. We had a peaceful family dinner with lots of chit-chats and gossips..

Manik's POV'

I huffed a sign of relief as the day finally came to an end.. what an hectic day it was.. yea yea I know it was weekend but a buisness man is never off duty and lately services at some of the cafe's and restaurants has degraded leading to many unhappy customers..

And I believe "Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.." we are trying to figure out a way out of it..

I went home had my dinner peacefully and we all are sitting together discussing our day.. Mom is giving a relaxing head massage to me..

"Manu.." she called out my name ever so sweetly and I humed in response..

"Manu mere liye bhi laade na ek sundar, sushil bahu.."

I jerked up and looked at her with wide eyes..

Cabir chuckled and mimicked her, "Manu mere liye bhi laade na ek pyaari si bhabhi.."

I glared at him and look at dad for help but he shook his head and was going to mimick mom but stopped him..

"Mom par achanak se kya hua.!?" I asked.

"Aaj main humari ladies kitty party mein gyi thi, meri saari saheliyo ki bahu hai mujhe bhi bahu chahiye.." she said whining like a kid for candy..

I was about to oppose her but she said, "mujhe pata tha tu meri baat kabhi nahi talega isliye Maine tere liye rishta dhoondh liya hai.."

I chocked on my own spit listening her. She springed up from the couch and rushed to her room for god knows what..

Dad and Cabir chuckled at my expression.. I was about to go to look for mom but she came back jumping with an envelope in her hand..

"Yeh le Teri hone wali biwi ki photo.. kal hum jayenge unke ghar.." she said shoving envelope in my hand..

"Shrikant ap Raman Murthy ko jante ho na.!? Yaad hai hum unki aur Mrs.Murthy ki 25th Wedding anniversary par party mein gye the..!?"

"Han humne unke saath kaam bhi Kiya hai.. He's a very humble and down to earth man.."

"Han unki beti hai, Nandini.. She's a cardiologist by profession and a very kind girl.. Her Mother Ishita Murty is a member of our club.. I have even met her twice or thrice.."

"Oh that's great!! Mom thank you so much you finally found a bhabhi for me.." Cabir said eyeing me..

"Guys Guys relax I haven't said yes yet.. It's fine with me we will go tomorrow..Good night.."

I went to my room. Freshened up a bit and Indulged myself in work.. My Eyes went on the envelope.. I opened it and my breathe hitched looking at the beauty in front of me..

She looked so beautiful. Just like a fairy. Her big doe eyes  shined in the fairy lights she was surrounded with. Her pink lucious lips looked so tempting. I so wanted to Goble her chubby cheeks.. Her Maroon sharara suit contrasted with her milk white skin.. And her smile made my heart skip a beat..

I slept thinking about my maybe future wifey..
