"You're pitiful, you know that", he restored, looking unable to hold on to the one thing that made him human. "Huh," I said, trembling. "Leave my sight already, and don't even come near me again", he shouted angrily, making me want to crawl back into the hole I came out of. "It's okay, pious. You sound like you're breaking up or something. Calm down". "Eric, take pious away, and Abigail, I'm sorry about what just happened, but right now isn't a good time, you know," Desmond said, looking apologetic, and left.
I felt humiliated and wronged. I didn't do anything wrong, but I'm being disgraced. A tear is tempted to fall, but I won't let you, gal, damn it. I murmured irrationally. This isn't junior high anymore, and I'm done being the good girl. The second week isn't over, but I have been cheated with my own pocket money due to kindness and humiliation. I'm done with this bullshit. Abigail raised her head, feeling relaxed, with an ugly smug appearance on her face. She's going to play by her rules. I went over to my class's backyard and spotted Henry there. Oh well, let's get over this, I thought.
"Abigail, your here; have a seat," he ushered. I'm annoyed but smiling, and being a hypocrite will be the end of me someday. "Look, Henry, can you rap this up? I have a class to attend." I spoke unfazed. So, Abigail, I think I'm in love with you, and I want you to be my girl," he said and winked at me. "Huh, where is this one coming from", I thought angrily that this confession thing was getting out of hand.
Ahem, "Aren't you dating Victoria though?" I asked, hoping he said he was joking, but this boy doesn't get the memo. "Jerk," I murmured enough for him to hear. "Aww, sweet cheeks, don't let that prevent us, but I told her to pursue you to date me," he said ignorantly. "You know, sweet cheeks; it's not been long". "You can go and ask her if you want; I mean for more classification," he ended, looking unfazed and annoyed. "Ah, at least he is honest, unlike some people," I muttered. "Look, I'm happy you feel that way towards me; in fact, I'm honored, but I don't think it's possible for me to feel the same about you," I confessed uncomfortably. "Did Faustina tell you to tell me this?" he gritted his teeth continuously. I told her I wanted to pursue you and asked for her help, but she threatened me and went as far as to brainwash you." He ended up looking as annoying as ever. Being nice to someone is hard, especially when you're pretending to act nice. "I feel as if I'm talking to an unreasonable child with no sense of what's so ever, and I need to get to class," I thought, sighing. "Look, I'm really getting late and I need to go, so see you later, okay? I walked away annoyedly. Monday is the worst.
A month later
It's inter-houses; let me explain: everyone is appointed to a house as soon as they're registered into the school's system. It mainly consists of red for St. Theresa, yellow for St. Cecelia, green for St. Benedict, and blue for St. Joseph. What a typical Catholic school, but the best thing is that there isn't any class for about two weeks straight. This week for the inter-houses and next week for the inter-school. "What the life?" Faust said, lodging in front of our class. "No class, no rules, just be free," I said excitedly, throwing my arms everywhere. "You're right, Victoria I asked, and she shouted, "True," then giggled.
Isn't it true that the girl pious rejected a group of students' past by whispering to themselves?
