Abigail POV

The news of Ryan breaking his nose made history. Franca told me she'd be at his home and asked if I'd like to tag along, which I refused. "School is over," I muttered, sitting in my empty class, starting outside the school through the large open window. This was why I loved being upstairs; the fresh air felt so sweet I could just taste it.

"Won't you go and visit Ryan?" I heard a familiar voice, making me chuckle. "He is good," I replied, turning around. "What brings you here, bishop?" I asked, standing up from my desk. "Just checking up on you after you rejected me". "Oh, that," I mumbled, recalling that day. "I stared at him, tilting my head", "Just come back from my girlfriend's class," he said, smiling, making me cringe. "Okay, good for you". "I know," he responded, continuing to brag about her. I was walking out of my class to see if my driver was in.

Running back inside, I grabbed my bag, tapped the rumbling bishop, and waved him goodbye. Which left him speechless. I had things to worry about, and Bishop wasn't on my list right now. Peeking through Mimi's window, she entered her class and waved to Cynthia and her boyfriend. I ran up to Mimi, told her I was leaving, hugged her, and ran off. "I pray Ryan gets better," I chanted, running down the stairs.

NEXT DAY

Entering my class, I saw Ryan and Jenny kissing. I smiled and greeted my girlfriends, then ran out to greet Cynthia and Mimi. After that, I felt a tap. "Hey Franca," I greeted Turing around, smiling. "Hey," why are you always here nyway?" "To see my boyfriend," she responded, rolling her eyes with her arms crossed. Oh yeah, I forgot she was now dating Williams, one of Yeong's friends.

I told her where she could find her "boyfriend" before asking her for a favor. "I want a background check on someone". "Who do you want a full background check on". "Ryan," I answered, remembering what I saw a few minutes ago. "Give me his full information status; I want to know who I'm dealing with," I said, looking down at my Varinder. 'Again, why do you need that" "Franca, you are richer than me, so it won't be hard for you to get a full background check; your connections are unbelievably strong". "Okay. Okay. I get it, but you own me one," she said, running down the stairs in the looks of her prince charming. Making my mind go back to yesterday.

Yeong flirts more than I do, and he's been flirting with me since our first year, but his confession shocked me. He always found fault in everything I did, but that didn't stop him from monitoring my every move. He loved me, but he let those feelings be. And now he wants us to be friends with benefits. It looks like he is in my body. Not surprising. Raising my head high, I giggled, feeling warm hands wrap themselves around my neck. "Yeah, sorry for taking a long time," she said, earning a nod from me. I turned my head back to my class only to find Jenny throwing daggers at me. Unwrapping his arms from me, I laughed historically. "I really am here stealing someone's prey". I muttered, only to see Ryan's full attention on me.

"I don't like her like that," Ryan said, looking at Jenny too. "Huh," I said, sounding confused. "I like you, Abigail, but it's hard when she thinks I have feelings for her". "So why did you ask her out?" I asked. "She was and still is the most beautiful person I've ever laid eyes on. When I saw her standing in front of her class, I thought, Why not try my luck? and when I did, she immediately said yes". He said he was looking down at me. "After that, I saw you, and I felt a pull. You didn't even give me the time or the day; that's why it shocked me when you asked me for the time. I could help myself... then remember, during basketball practice, I asked Yeong why you felt so soft in my arms".

He said he was sighing, making me feel embarrassed. "We started talking and knowing each other, and then I realized you were it. I like you rather," he confessed, making me feel butterflies in my stomach. "Get out of this instance; I'm not a garden," I murmured to myself. That's why I asked Jenny to give me a break to think things over. "So, you are not dating her," I asked, pointing

to the class. "Yes", he said, cupping my cheeks. Meanwhile, I was thrilled that he liked me but surprised me; I bet my eyes were sparkling.
