"I told you I'd be back, and I warned you to be careful. Now look what happened, Abigail," Franca said apologetically. "What happened, Abigail? Tell me all of it," Franca demanded, so I did. I told her what I knew and what happened.

Face palming herself, she said, "Desmond told me to come to check up on you, but before I came here, I went to visit Pious and asked him about your whereabouts, and he got angry. So, I asked Desmond instead, and he then told me what happened. "But I want to know something," Franca asked, and I smiled, saying "Ask away". "Uhm, when did you and Desmond get so close". Well, Desmond and I were just on talking terms, but after the incident, He apologizes on Pious and the crew's behalf and from that day on. We just got close. I guess".

"So yeah, he also came clean about the bet and stuff." I ended up looking exhausted. "Ahmed, pious told me, you told everyone. He liked you and embarrassed him, and he went further and said you were putting yourself on him, but he seems to forget. He told me he loved you and was pursuing you. Dude is hopelessly obsessed with you, and when things don't go his way, he takes this approach," Franca said, trying to see Pious's perspective, which is fine and all.

Leaning on my chair, I whispered, "That's why I can never be with someone so absurd". Turning to look at Franca. "I honestly wanted to transfer to another school, but I stopped, and this whole situation is giving me an excuse to go," I said unflustered. "You know, Abigail, running away from your problems doesn't solve anything. If you ask me, I think you're doing great, and you're surrounded by people who love you. What else do you want". She said she was also turning her head to look at me. "One more thing: it was Raymanuel and Grace who spread those rumors. I found out today too," Franca stated. "I thought so," I responded tiredly. "Well, there's nothing I can do now, please. I'll be going for the inter-school competition next week with Priscilla and the crew, so I think I've got a lot on my plate," I said, stretching and looking relaxed. "Soo, let's change the subject," I requested, and she happily agreed.

Another boring Monday

Ah, I yawned. "The school is far away,Priscilla" complained. We've been walking for about 30 minutes now, but someone who shall remain nameless took the school bus just because he's playing basketball.

Sniff, sniff. This is not fair, I thought. "How many minutes will we have to take to reach the school?" Jennifer whined. "We're here," I said, pointing at the school. We bought tickets so we could enter, but there's a long queue. Uggh!!! Before I left, Franca and I were sharing information like we always do. After she and I talked, we decided to start sharing useful information. Knowing full well about her connections around the school, I decided to build my own, so I'm learning what it takes. I've started seeing people differently, and it sometimes disgusts me. "Pious is being pressured, and he is taking advantage of the situation, so just watch and see something". That's the last thing she told me before she left me today. "Hey, Abbie." I heard a deep voice behind me and turned around to see a body-built guy wearing a t-shirt with cadet printed on it. "You zoned out, and please catch up to your friends before they leave you," he said, finding my situation funny. I ran through and pulled on Jennifer's uniform. "Jen, who is that buff guy". I asked. Oh, you mean Bishop? He is a first-year student just like us, and he attends our school, she replied, turning in the other direction. I found out one of my group members is dating a guy who is in the same school as Henry, and the students of that school would be camping around the school. Around two o'clock, her boyfriend called her to remind her to leave the school at 12. So, we're on our way out, and it looks like they're already going in the direction we're coming from. What happens is not my business.
We were five, and we decided to stay, but Jennifer had other plans. She pushed us into a class of boys and announced a twerking competition, which I didn't involve myself in. I did watch, though it was fun, but...
