Hurriedly getting out of his car, Jimmy glanced at his wristwatch and swore softly. He was a little late, we can say he was almost late. What he disliked most was not being punctual. He was walking up the stairs when two notifications came on his phone. Jimmy looked at the mobile screen. Two voice messages: one from Yin, the other from Una. Yin was probably asking where Jimmy was now, so he skipped this message and immediately went on to listen to a voice message from Una.

Jimmy, did I get a notification about the transport debt. What should I do? I don't understand where I got the debt from? There was hysteria in her voice. Jimmy, what should I do?

Jimmy put the phone in his suit jacket pocket and continued down the long corridor, already so familiar and native. The corridor was empty, as most of the employees had already gone home.

Jimmy noticed Yin sitting on the couch outside the principal's office. He was playing on his phone until he heard Jimmy's footsteps echoing closer and looked up.

"Well, what have you done this time?" asked Jimmy, taking his bag off his shoulder and sitting down on the sofa next to Yin with a sigh.

Yin shrugged his shoulders, casually announcing: "Just dropped a tray of food."

"On someone's head?" Jimmy clarified, looking at him questioningly.

Yin bowed his head. "Math teacher." And immediately added: "But I didn't do it on purpose, I really slipped."

"But no one believed you." concluded Jimmy.

"I admit I was really naughty last time, but now I really didn't want to."

Jimmy shook his head and sighed again.

His son's hyperactivity was enough of a headache not only at school, but also at home. He was tired of coming to the principal's office and trying to apologize for his son's behavior. Perhaps he is not such a good parent if he cannot cope with Yin, or he does not devote enough time to his son and he tries to attract his father's attention with his pranks, or Yin has picked up such behavior from his aunt. Jimmy doesn't know the answer to these questions.

He rubs his temple with his fingers.

"Is there someone in the director's office? Have you been sitting here for a long time?"

Yin nods, again buried in the game on the phone.

"Yeah, Ai's inside. Her father gets called to school even more often than you." giggled Yin.

Jimmy slapped his son on the back of the head.

"Found something to be proud of."

Jimmy leaned back on the sofa and closed his eyes. He only noticed that loud voices were heard outside the door of the director's office. Someone also had a problem child like Jimmy. Well, at least he wasn't alone in that.

"By the way..." Yin caught his father's attention. "Something happened at Aunt Una's again. She left me a voice message."

"Yeah, me too." Jimmy nodded. "I will solve her problems later, now I need to deal with your problem."

They sat in silence for a while, listening only to the muffled voices outside the door of the director's office. Jimmy leaned his head against the wall and stared at the ceiling, thinking about Yin and Una. One is hyperactive, the other behaves like a helpless child, and it is Jimmy who should solve all their problems. But if everything was clear with Yin, because he is his child, then with Una he understands that he went too far. He spoiled her and now she has completely stopped taking responsibility for even the most insignificant issues. It was his own fault, but damn it, he was fourteen at the time, and he felt so grown up when he stood up for her, when Una came to him with her problems and consulted with him. It's so nice to be fourteen years old, but at the same time to be useful and necessary and not be considered a child at the same time.
