I glanced over at Nico, biting my lip. He had made it clear that he didn't want Jason to find out about us and that was fine with me but dam it was hard.

I looked down at his hand, laying limply on the couch.

I bit my lip, fighting the urge to interlock my fingers with his.

"You okay over there?" Nico asked, flipping a page in his book.

"Yeah, i'm fine," I said quickly, standing up.

"Woah, woah, where are you going?" he questioned, grabbing my hand.

I arched my eyebrows slightly, glancing down at our hands.

"Nowhere," I whispered, plopping back down next to him.

"Good, i needed a headrest," he smiled, resting his head on my chest.

"Neeks," I groaned.

"What?"

"You're lucky i love you," i whispered, brushing his hair behind his ear.

"Mhm,"

"Wow and you don't even say it back, jeez Neeks," I joked, playing with his hair

"Shh, i'm trying to read," He ordered, pressing his finger to my lips.

I laughed, pulling him into my lap. He lazily readjusted his head, tucking his knees into his chest. I wrapped one of my arms around his chest, my other hand resting on his thigh. He traced his fingers over my hand, eventually resting his hand on mine.

I opened my mouth to say something when i heard a door open.

Jason.

Nico quickly crawled off my lap and went back to reading his book, like nothing had happened.

I pulled out my book and tried to look busy.

I glanced up slightly, seeing Jason walk into the living room.

"Hey Nico, can we talk?" He asked, leaning against the door frame.

"Yeah sure," Nico shrugged, standing up.

I caught his eye as he walked away. He smiled reassuringly and walked out of the room.

I followed Jason to the guest room, biting the inside of my lip.

What was it that he wanted from me?

"What's up?" I asked as he closed the door.

"What's going on between you and Will?" he questioned.

"Nothing," I shrugged.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, what do you think is going on?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"I don't know, you guys just seem to be acting weird and i don't want you to get hurt,"

"Jason, I'm fine," I sighed, rolling my eyes.

"I know Nico, I just worry about you,"

"Jason as i said, i'm fine,"

"Okay fine, i believe you but you sure there is nothing going on between you and Will?" he asked, leaning against the wall.

"We're just friends Jason!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, okay," he laughed, holding his hands up in the air, "I'm happy for you guys though."

"Thanks," I smiled down at my feet.

I hated lying to Jason like this but i wasn't ready to tell him. I still wasn't sure what was going on between me and Will. The fact that I told Hazel was crazy and she's my sister. Jason may be my best friend but there was no way i'd be telling him anything any time soon. But i still felt awful about it.

"Anything else you need?" I asked, taking a hold of myself.

"No that's it," he smiled.

"Alright, thanks," I forced a smile and walked out of the door. I bit my lip trying not to cry. I walked into the living room the one thing i needed playing in my head.

Will
