It had been a few days since Jayson had met Amber, and he hadn't moved from his bed at all. He had no idea what to do. Though, who would blame him? Especially since he only had a chair and table, screwed into the floor. He stared at his ceiling, wondering what he can do. Then, it hit him. It's not what he can do, but what he should. He sat up, his feet on the floor, before looking at his hands. He thought for a bit, before balling them into fists.
Jayson (thinking): Never again.
He stood and walked to the center of the room. He closed his eyes, and thought of angering thoughts. After a bit, he felt his anger, causing him to change. Jayson used all of his energy to try and conceal the beast. He was able to keep it hidden for a moment, but then he lost control and transformed.
Beast Jayson: Damn it...
Jayson calmed himself down, turning back to normal, before he repeated the cycle, over and over. In another room, a scientist was relaxing in his chair, before he looked at the cameras to Jaysons room. After watching for a bit, he understood what Jayson was trying to do. He grabbed a walky-talky.
Scientist: Uh... Bryson?
Bryson (radio): Yes?
Scientist: You might want to look at the cameras.
Bryson (radio): Which cell?
Scientist: I... I think you know, sir. The newest, he's... just look.Bryson turned the computer in his office on, before opening Jaysons cameras. He was shocked to see what Jayson was attempting. Though what shocked him more was the determination. No matter how many times Jayson would fail, he would keep trying to tame the beast. Bryson sat back in his chair, watching in amazement. He finally was able to record some activity. He immediately began recording. A few hours had went by, and Jayson was exhausted. He had only went into his lizard state once or twice every few days, but he had just went back and forth for hours. He sat on the floor, his legs barely able to hold him, landing in a puddle of sweat he didn't even realize was there. But he didn't care, he was too exhausted to barely think, he couldn't even tell he was panting like a dog. Just then, he heard a knock at his door, opening to reveal Bryson. Jayson hung his head and muttered something that he couldn't even understand. Though, instead of Bryson offering anything, he just patted Jayson on the shoulder. Jayson looked at him, curious.
Jayson: What... do... you want?
Bryson: Jayson, I saw what you're doing. I just want to say that I'm extremely impressed. I would have thought you would just lied in that bed forever.
Jayson: Cut the crap, Bryson.Jayson slowly stood.
Jayson: I know you just want to run a test. So, what do you want?
Bryson sighed before he stood up as well.
Bryson: No pulling the wool over your eyes, huh? Alright, I'll admit, I had an idea.
There it is. The offer.
Bryson: The fact that you're trying to actually control yourself... honestly shocks me. I want to help.
Jayson: And in return, you get what?
Bryson: In return, I gather information on the newest SCP in this facility, possibly bringing you down from a ketter class.
Jayson: Ketter?
Bryson: Ketter class SCPs are classified as the most dangerous. Due to us not knowing a lot about you, along with the last experiment, we were given no choice but to classify you as one of the most dangerous.
Jayson: Figures.
Bryson: Jayson, you need to listen to me right now, your life won't get any better if you stay as a ketter class. But, if I can make you a safe class, we could possibly make things way better for you.Jayson didn't respond.
Bryson: Jayson, trust me, if it was up to me, you would be on that safe class now. You're a lot better than... other ketter class.
Jayson: Wait... what?Suddenly, the screams of Bryson's wife echoed in his mind. He slightly flinched, before he quickly calmed himself and smiled.
Bryson: Nothing, never mind. So, what do you say?
Jayson looked down, thinking.
Jayson: How does this work?
