every favor you ask of me
i say yes, afraid of disappointing you
without even thinking
if i will disappoint myself too.
you asked me
to be the bridge
between the person
you like and you.
so i said yes
and you said thanks
you smiled and hugged me
i counted the moment. . .
one two three
oh how i wish that person was me.
"i love her," you said.
but you don't know
how my heart aches
when you said
those words
out of the blue
because damn you
i love you too,
when will you
see it through?
