Previously:
Desnarak planted giant cocoons across the kingdoms to destroy the whole world ad captured Dash. However, after the latter escaped, he and his royal friends joined together and brought forth the miraculous combination of Legend King-Ohger.
After saving the kingdoms, Scourge, Fiona and Rosy were arrested and put in the dungeon of the Hedgehog Kingdom, but Ryan was killed by Scourge. And, the Buganarks are currently plotting their next strike.

Underground, the evil emperor of the Buganarks, Desnarak VII, is laughing at the readying preparations for their next invasion, but then, a strange person wearing white robes and a spider-like mask over his face walks towards him and his prime minister, Kamejim.
"You're not destroying this planet on my watch!" said the stranger.
"I don't know who you are..." said Kamejim, "But what makes you think that you can stop us?"
"I don't just think that I'll stop you." the stranger replied, "I know I'll stop you. Unfortunately, I can't see you directly because of this mask that's over my face."
"Whatever your face looks like, stranger..." said Desnarak, "You won't be able to stop what we've planned this time!"
"We'll see about that...." the stranger replied again, "However, there is more to the prophecy that will bring your downfall than just the three Legendary Shugods."
And in response to what the stanger just spoke, Desnarak said, "What you're saying is nonsense! There is nothing else on this world besides the King-Ohgers that can stop us!!!"

Meanwhile, in the Ancient Kingdom, Knuckles and Rouge are seeing their villagers who have just been released from being brainwashed by Scourge, and they are praising them for taking back their kingdom, but the royal Echidna/Bat couple tell the people to also give credit to their allies. But deep down, both royals are mourning for the loss of their own son, Prince Ryan.
At the same time, in the Hedgehog Kingdom throne room, Scourge, Fiona and Rosy are chained up and brought before King Sonic, Queen Amy, Princess Lily, Nate, Wendy, Earthia and even Prince Dash, who is pointing his Ohger Calibur at Scourge's neck with an angry expression on his face.
"I should have known you were still alive, Dash...." Scourge growled.
"Of course I'm still alive, Scourge." Dash replied, "That cliff you made me fall off of only resulted in me being mostly dead. However, I am angry at you for killing my friend who was also like my brother, Prince Ryan the Echidna of the Ancient Kingdom, before King Knuckles and his wife took back their kingdom. Why did you kill him?"
