I groan when i hear my phone ringing non stop. I look at the caller id and see it's Anni, "what." i say bluntly.

"get upp first day of school" she sounds very excited. Unlike me.

"yeah whatever i'm up now" i rub my eye with my left hand and listen to her speak.

"i'll come by yours in an hour bye love you" and it ends.

I cant be bothered for this at all but i decide to get out of bed anyway, getting ready for school. yay.I wear low rise jeans and a crop top which shows off my belly ring my dad doesn't know about, which means i need to put on a jacket. i found a zippy up jacket that has skeleton hands over it. Definitely taking the jacket off when i'm out.

I decide to leave my hair down and just put two small braids, one on each side. Now makeup. Mascara. Lashes. eyeliner. And i'm done. i don't do skin care, my skins already clear, i only wash my face and brush my teeth. I also put on my bracelets and necklaces. I go downstairs and greet my dad. I don't eat breakfast, don't think i ever have and never will. No point really, just a waste of time in the morning.

"pa kocham cię" (bye i love you) i say to my dad before i leave the house and he says he loves me back.

I'm fluent in polish, but when we moved to england i just found english was better, so i sometimes speak in polish to my dad.

Since i left mine early i call Anni, "i left mine early, im walking to yours now"

"Okay i'll meet you half way" She hangs up.

Her house is on the way to school, so im going to drop my jacket off there, it's september. So it's so hot outside so i don't need to worry. She does in fact meet me half way, and i ask her to drop my jacket off at hers and she does. I love this girl, i met her the first month i came back to Germany. She offered me a smoke and i accepted it.

No she did not get me started on all this smoking and drinking. I started back in England because i wanted to. I blame my mum in my defence.

"Okay sorry girl but im gonna have to leave you now, since im in the higher set and your lower i know i won't have any classes with you. I'll meet you whenever i can tho and after school" she gives me a kiss on the cheek and leaves.

It's so embarrassing being the new girl, walking into the principals office to get your time table and going to a new class. I get my timetable and suprisingly they don't say anything about my appearance, unlike my other school. Clearly they don't care.

I walk into my first class which was close to the principals office so it wasn't that hard to find, it's a small school.

"Morning Amelia" The teacher smiles brightly at me. I'm not in the mood for this. I give her the smallest smile ever and don't speak.

"want to introduce yourself?" she asks. That's awkward.

"Not rlly. My names Ami that's it." I reply back. I just want to sleep.

"okay.. you can sit at the back" She points at a guy with braids in his hair. I go and sit down and lay my head on the table.

"Hey i'm-" He starts.

"Not interested." i shoot back with my head still on the table, it's 9 am why does anyone bother speaking to me. I know i may seem horrible but i genuinely cant be bothered.

"okay.." he turns in his seat, i look up and just stare infront of me. Spacing out.

"nice bracelets." He says and i finally look at the boy then down at my bracelets.

"Thanks." A short reply, that's all he needs.

"where did you get it?" He continues.

"I don't know." I do know. Bill and Tom, i said that we will see each other again but we were kids then, and now we're teenagers nearly adults.

"you look familiar" I look back at him and just stare.

"you dont." I cant think of anyone who it could be, so i don't know

"my names-" i cut him off

"im trying to listen to the teacher."

Finally he shuts up. Maybe i came out too harsh but too late now.

Finally it's lunch, we just had maths. Hate maths, hate school.

The boy infront of me turns around, "hey"

"hi?" i look at him, i like his style, and the guy next to me i cant lie.

"wanna come with me and my friends?" He asks.

"Soz my friend is waiting for me." I decline his offer and go meet Anni.

"Hey ami, how was your day so far?" i just look at her. "i guess not so good."

"it was fine, i guess" I shrug,

"Me and my friends are going around back to smoke a cig, you coming?"

"Obviously." How can i decline that? i cant.

We meet her friends at the back of the school and a cig gets passed around, we're not wasting a whole box on 5 people. I don't bother remembering their names, but the cig finally get passed to me and i inhale. I close my eyes and lean my head on the wall behind me. Suddenly it gets knocked out my hand. I shoot my eyes open and stare at the same two guys that were in my class earlier then look at Anni.

"what's your problem?" i yell. I was enjoying that.

"Ami what are you doing?" The guy with braids yells back at me.

"Who are you? I know we have the same class but doesn't mean you can just stop me." The yelling just goes back and forth.

I don't bother listening anymore and just walk away with Anni and her friends pushing past the braid guys shoulder.

Now i'm home.
