Carlisle X Fem!Reader

Chapter 1

Y/n Pov:

As you ran through the woods, you could hear them chasing after you. ' Why don't they just kill me, instead of making me suffer?'  You thought to yourself as you kept running. One suddenly appeared in front of you causing you to scream, so you took a hard left, nearly falling over. You kept running, growing weaker, and weaker by the second until you were sure you were about to pass out. You kept running, knowing that if you stopped or slowed, that you would be dead. As you kept running, you ran by a house hidden deep in the woods. You thought about getting their help, but you couldn't risk a detour, and ran past it. You suddenly tripped and hit your head on a rock. As you started to pass out, you could see the looming figure of what you were running from.... A Vampire.

When you finally woke up, you were on a couch and there was a woman sitting beside you. She had short black hair with pale skin and golden eyes. She was one of them. You screamed and sat up, starling the woman, causing her to jump back. She then quickly came over to comfort you. " Hey, It's alright, you're okay."  You pushed her away. " I know what you are, Vampire, and I don't want to die!" You said as you jumped off the couch you were lying on. A few more people came in to see what the commotion was about.  Another woman stepped out, she had longer hair but the same skin and eyes as the first. " Hey, hey, Shh, shh. We won't hurt you. Yes, we are vampires, but we only drink animal blood, never human blood." She said slowly walking over to you. This calmed you a bit but you were still afraid. " Wait how did I get here?"  You ask, rubbing the back of your head.  " Carlisle brought you here. He isn't here right now because he had some... business to attend to."  You give him an unimpressed look for thinking you didn't know. " So, he's hunting. Cool."   You say while fiddling with your hands. 

You quickly look up at them.  " I'm very sorry for my outburst today. I have been hunted by vampires since I was 16. And i have been running from them for 7 years, and i've been living with my friend Bella and her dad for about one month now.  I'm turning 23 on Y/B/D. My name is Y/n by the way."    " Well Y/n, my name is Alice. This is Esme, Emmet, Rosalie, Edward, Jasper.  And Carlisle is out hunting." The short haired woman said while pointing to the different people in the room.  As if on cue, another person entered the room. " Oh, Y/n, this is Carlisle, Esme's brother."  He was hot. His hair was a beautiful shade of blonde, with brown eyes, and a beautiful face. ' Wow, he's cute.'  You think to yourself.  You hear Edward slightly chuckle, and give him a confused look, to which he straightens up and stops laughing. " It's a pleasure to meet you, and i'm glad you're awake now. " He says extending his arm for you to shake. You shake his hand and look at the floor, flustered. He excuses himself from the room and heads to his office, calling Edward before he heads up the stairs.

Carlisle Pov: 

I called Edward before I left for my office. As I head up to my office, I start to breathe again. I open the door to my office and Edward follows close behind me.  " Carlisle, what's wrong?"   I gave him an angered look.  " Shouldn't you know? You're the one who can fucking read minds."   I sit down frustratingly at my desk.  " Calm down and tell me what's wrong. I was listening to Y/n's thoughts so I didn't hear yours."  I sigh and look down at my hands.  "  Okay, when I rescued Y/n, I almost couldn't resist feeding on her blood. It was really strong to me, Stronger than any other scent in a 5 mile radius. I needed to get out of there as fast as I could, or I would have lost control."  I said putting my face in my hands.  " Carlisle, I understand. That's what's been going on with me and Bella. Her scent is so appealing, that I want it all the time."  

I look up at Edward as I feel him put a comforting hand on my shoulder.  " I feel terrible about it , I want to stay away from her, but I also want her around so I can smell her scent."    " Well, I heard from a certain someone's mind that you were cute." Edward said giving me a coy smile and nudging my shoulder.  ' Really, doesn't she know i'm a monster?'   I thought to myself. " Yes, she knows what we are, but when she saw you, she thought you were a cutie, and I believe that you will get used to it and learn to be able to love her."  He gave me a reassuring smile and we headed back downstairs.  As soon as she saw me, she instantly lit up. " The key is to breathe. It will be difficult, but you'll get used to it."  Edward whispered to me as I walked up to everyone else.  'Okay'  I relaxed and slowly started to breathe, her scent blocking my senses.
