"Fine, you want to light the fuse? Go head." You storm off into the kaiju cove, unfollowed.
"I still have the lighter- looks like squids just gonna have to take an L."
You walked around the cave, watching the glistening crystals gleam against the dust. "That plan do any good?" The figs spoke up, walking into view.
"I wouldn't say it's going... good."
"Oh, good luck with that." The figs awkwardly walked away.
You see the sprinklekit you either helped or attempted to murder by the pool startled by sudden sounds. The sinox looks around. A bunch of slime pups start barking instantly, alerting everything else of a possible impending catastrophe.
A rumbling shakes the whole place, distant bangs fill the air with a sense of danger. Squid somehow actually did it. Squid actually did it.
Your feet carry you before you can think. Past rooms and past doors.
The boomings get loud, so so loud, sporadic and arbitrary. The final door slowly creeps open just in time, grey crumbling wall dented by a firework or rock, about to fall. Squid sits behind the wall, clearly terrified.
"Get away from the wall!" You shout but your lungs don't have enough air. Voice doesn't have enough shout within.
You see a shape dart away from the wall just in time before it comes crumbling down. The rumbling ceased.
You ran out to the balcony and see the rocks gone, a clear path to the outside.
"The exit.. These two days felt like forever."
"Only took about.. a year." You hear squid say behind you.
Ending: you've made it out alive.
