Guitarist. Songwriter. A band. It's all i had ever wanted for as long as i can remember.
But, i couldn't do it alone, could i? My four best friends and i have been waiting for this moment, the call back.
We sent a demo of our songs to a record label in hopes of getting a record deal to help out band in terms of popularity. Yes, sure we have played some small gigs but nothing too fancy.
We love writing music, and we have been friends for as long as i can remember. Bill and Tom helped me from some bullies one time, shocker. The twins and i soon became friends. Then, Georg and Gustav joined eventually. We all found out we had one thing in common, and that was music.
Me and Tom soon found out we both played guitar, whilst Georg was on bass. Bill had always had an amazing voice so it was obvious he was the singer. Something that shocked me was that Gustav played the drums, but he was amazing at them.
Bill and Tom's step dad helped us out a lot with our music. We called ourselves "Devilish", for some reason that's what we all agreed on. We were all practicing some of our songs straight after school one day as we always had done, and the twins' step dad came in with shocking news. We had gotten the record deal.
The people that had called us back loved our music style and said it would be better if we had changed our band name, and surprisingly, we agreed on what they had suggested. Tokio Hotel. Bill Kaulitz: singer, Tom Kaulitz and Sage Klein: guitarists, Georg Listing: bassist, and Gustav Schäfer: drummer. Our names would be known as the members of Tokio Hotel.
The record deal said it would be best to send them our songs to get them on cd's and to make music videos, which we obliged quickly. Our dream was coming true. We had made our music videos and they were broad casted all over Germany.
Our record deal booked us photo shoots and places to hold our concerts. Little did we know this was only the beginning...
