Devrim led Scorpion up the tower into his little sniper's roost. Once they reached the top, The Guardian propped her rifle against a table to her left and waited for Devrim to start his explanation.

"I was contacted one day by the Hunter Vanguard, Cayde-6 is his name. He wanted me to keep an eye out for a certain woman, in the event that she would be reborn as a Guardian." He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small wrinkled photo and handed it to the Guardian. Her eyes widened as she focused on the image. It was her. She was looking past the camera at whoever was taking the picture with a large grin on her face, as if she were laughing. The buildings in the background were standing tall and unbroken, this was when she was alive…mortal.

The next words out of Devrims mouth made her blood run cold, "He's looking for his sister." Devrim spoke with conviction. "He wanted to personally take you to The Last City."

Scorpion stood there in awe, staring at the photograph. Devrim took a few steps away towards the window.

"Oh, and by the way, your name is Storm Aldemir. He wanted me to tell you that. I have to make a call, if you'll excuse me." Devrim said before he walked away towards the other end of the tower. Storm could still hear him clearly however.

"Hello Cayde? Devrim…yes she's here…yes. Roger that." Devrim cut communication and turned back to Storm. "He should be here within a few hours."

"Okay." Storm said with her eyes still on the photo. She looked so happy, in a world that was so…normal.

Storm wasn't expecting to doze off, but she was jolted awake by the roar of a jumpships engine approaching. Not too long after she heard a sort of ethereal whoosh as a man manifested into existence, approaching Devrim with haste.

"Hey, Devrim! I'm here, where is she?" The man spoke quickly but with an inescapably casual tone. The man's attention was turned to Storm immediately as she stood up, she stopped with a shock to see that this man…was a robot. "Holy shit. It's really you!" He thrust his arms forward in a gesture of disbelief. This man spoke with his entire body, actually.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this." He approached her and thrust his hand out, "Cayde-6, and your brother…aaaaand your boss." He was all business before he mentioned that he was her boss, he also booped her on the nose as he said it.

"But you're a robot." Storm said quizzically, "How can you be my brother?"

"Well, thanks to a little thing called BrayTech, people were able to have their consciousness put into an Exo body. So I was human once, that is who you were brothers with, but ya know? It's still my brain." This man was a delight.

He grabbed her by the wrist, "Come on! Come on! We gotta go back to The Last City, Zavala is going to love this. I mean, he'll hate it, but I'll love it." He said as he practically dragged her away. She watched her surroundings fade and distort away as they were suddenly in Caydes' jumpship.

"Alright sis, next stop? The Last City!" He shouted with excitement. Storm couldn't help but smile as he laid on the throttle and she was forced into her seat. After a long flight, Storm could just barely make out a strange sight in the sky. The jumpship broke through the clouds to reveal the massive Traveler looming in the sky.

"Well there it is. We'll get you all settled in after you meet Zavala." Cayde went on about what the next few hours would have in store for her, but she only stared at the wondrous sight of the city.

Home.
